Glad you mentioned the whole this palette being better as far as an aging factor. You also make a good point about the quality and price range of Natasha Denona’s eyeshadow palettes! I compare everyone else’s formulas to hers because they are just so easy to apply and last all day on my eyes without a primer- to be fair I don’t have super oily lids.
I understand what Jen means. Not every formula from ND is going to be suited to mature lids, where Dior never fails. It will always come down to what you're going to get the best value from. I just had my ND Nude Palette arrive a few days ago, which I adore. I do use a primer to even out the skin-tone on my lids, yet at 55yrs, do not have any issue with using any other brands. It's always good to weigh up the pro's and con's first, before rushing in. I really would have liked the deeper Dior Quint, yet I have endless shades the same already. It's just the convenience of having them in one small palette that helps. Anyway, it's the first day of Spring in Australia today, so I'm not rushing for Autumnal looks. I never wear eye make-up seasonally anyway.💖

This is a fantastic palette! It looks STUNNING on you and I love it on my green eyes! It screams beautiful autumn days with cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes. I’m so excited! Lol.
I've been waiting to see these Quints. If it wasn't for the rather colourful palettes that I've already bought this year, including ND Purple-Blue, Metropolis and Triochrome, Isaymaya Ffrench Industrial Palette No.1, the four Chanel Quads plus the Délices, all Givenchy Eye Palettes, Tom Ford Honeymoon, a number of PML Motherships etc., I would have loved the deeper Quint in particular. I feel the lighter one looks too much like the L/E Golden Bouquet which came out about this time last year, yet with more slightly golden hues, but basically still the same. When I look at everything I've bought this year alone that has these Autumnal shades in them, I honestly don't need either Quint, as pretty as they are. I'm keeping my pennies for the Holiday releases. When I look at the TF Honeymoon, Givenchy 9pan in the same shades, plus everything else that's similar, it's getting ridiculous. Speaking of ridiculous, have you seen the new Chanel Satin Lipsticks at only US$195.00 each that come in glass packaging? I'm hoping it's a misprint, yet doubting that already. I haven’t but the bullet and tried anything from the new quint formula. I’m a light medium complexion, with smallish eyes, so I feel like the beige one will not give me enough, while the deeper one with give too much.
Thank you for the presentation; one thing to consider when choosing make-up is one's natural (or chosen) contrast level, which varies, depending on skin tone, eye brows, hair-color etc... Rouge saga looks fabulous on you, but isn't for everyone ; I'm thinking of purchasing the beige couture, but it might be too cool for what I'm looking for (an elegant everyday but perhaps with a bit of warmth)

Love the eye look. When you first held up the 2nd quint- I was like - there is red in it 😂😂😂you don’t like red 😂😂😂but when you got done with the look. It’s so beautiful on you. I kept saying to myself that she may not like reds that much but she can rock them beautifully 😂😂😂. OMG, the Rouge Saga looks like it was made exclusively for you - it's stunningly beautiful 😍 🤩 😍 It's as though Dior created a palette for brown eyes and a different one for blue eyes 😅, obviously, they didn't but to me, that's how it looks!! I overthink things 🙈 I used your link and ordered the Beige Couture. I appreciate its simplicity and having a choice of shimmers is really useful (for me). I wish I could wear the Rouge Saga, but that colour family looks so bad on my eyes, as does the shade of blusher. So, I shan't be getting either of those. I'm undecided on the lip lacquer. I went a little nuts buying Dior nail polish this week. They have some gorgeous sheer holo nude and pink shades. Much more to my taste than Chanel’s current thick opaque lacquers. I got a free gift code from Dior to apply to my next purchase, but I’m kinda struggling to find anything more I want. I like the nude palette, but it’s a pet peeve for me at the moment to get yet another unwanted peach shade in a palette. Or red. Or gold. Toward your goals, would be interesting to hear some polling questions from the ladies here. I suspect that most people watching have already determined their stance on pricing, when it comes to Chanel, Dior, Chantecaille or Cle de Peau. I would also suspect that we are gonna pick up something flattering, even if it’s repetitious, but still have some sensibility about their collections. Such as, do I need the red fall Dior palette if I bought the spring oversized red one from Chanel? Which would be more flattering for me, perhaps? Or, which one travels better, etc. 😅 Things like fragrance that you mentioned, claims like transfer-proof vs resistant, that alcohol, drying formulas, those are key issues for us. Improving our application techniques, I get a lot watching your techniques. 👍💅🏼💄 you are so so good at makeup. Hoping the worst migraines are behind you. I’ve had some bad terrible headaches in my life, that were usually menstrual, but each time I think how much worse than my worst that a migraine must be, and I think of my friends who have them. ❤
I love it all!! The blush, the quints and the lip😍it's so fall! I almost bought the Chanel Venetienne despite the weird greenish shade BUT this looks much more what I want. Often the darker Dior browns look too harsh or cool for me... This is beautiful. I gotta know though how similar is the Rouge Saga to Red Tartan and Rouge Trafalgar 😅
Remember that Red Tartan came out in the Velvet formula last year, which is quite different to the new reformulated Quint out now. I have the former and never found it to look red, yet more on the burnt orange leaning colour story. Not a true red at all on my pale skin-tone. Although, I don't have Rouge Trafalgar, it does look more of a true red in that middle shade, with some pink and brown. Now that you've mentioned it, this Dior Quint does remind me a lot of my Velvet Red Tartan. Of course, it will always depend on how you apply them. I've definitely got too many of these shades and won't be falling off the wagon this time. I bought all the Chanel Byzance Quads and there isn't anything 'weird' about the sparkling shade from Vénitienne. It's just like a sparkly mint. Just beautiful, over other shades too, especially the green from Baroque. It really is a beautiful Quad and I wouldn't want you to miss out. I do admit that my favourite from the two softer Quads is Cristal, yet would still love it if the blue sparkling shade was green, although not a great colour match. I'm only saying the the green is stunning!💖
@@krisushi1 it will be good to see swatch comparisons for the red quints. to me that shift to green in the Venetienne makes zero sense in a neutral palette. I don't want a green inner corner when I wear a daily neutral eye and I'm not buying a palette that I have to pull in other eye shadows for. I have a huge collection of indie shadows with all the shifts in the world so the shade is in no way special or even interesting to me. I probably have at least 10 green shifting whites

It's hard to explain these sparkling shades from the Byzance Quads, as they do need to be seen, preferably in person, to get the best view. I own all four of these Quads and love them all. The softer two are the Cristal and Vénitienne. It's up to you whether you wish to use the pale mint green sparkle as a topper over the lid or just to keep it to the inner corner. These sparkling shades are the highlights of the palettes and I would not feel right if I didn't say that if you're not going to use much of the mint, you can get the look from any number of palettes. It's the sparkle that highlights each palette and look. The other shades are pretty, yet can be sourced many other ways. I hope you find a solution. Best of luck.💖
Yesss I have Too Much blush now! 😂 I want the 2 new LE Chanel blushes so bad but I don’t think I can justify it since I have so many already and they look too pigmented for me.

I think you know what I mean. Also there are some countries and I live in one of them where Natasha Denona is not considered luxury brand and for that reason people with limited resources are not going to buy something that does not scream luxury. you might get 30 shades in the palette and quality could be better but nobody cares about this brand...
