The Schuyler Flatts Burial Project | Life at the Schuyler Mansion

The Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site was the first Georgian Mansion in Albany. It is believed that the Schuyler Family called the building 'The Pastures,' after the pastures which surrounded the estate all the way down to the Hudson River.

My wife and I drove by the house yesterday while driving from Maine to Georgia. The house was surprisingly small, and the area around the house is very sad and run down. That said, we would love to return and take a tour.
