*Just finished another fresh photo vlog with the Sigma 16mm - **ua-cam.com/video/KdEG_TDFFG8/v-deo.html* BAMM hope you like it!
I stumbled across your channel yesterday and I’ve got to say man, you deserve more subscribers! Awesome video dude, keep killing it 👌🏼 I can’t wait to get my hands on the 16mm 1.4 and shoot with my a6400
Thanks a ton! You're going to love the lens for sure ☺
This lens is legendary already. The shots were fire. Congrats on the purchase.
Thanks!! Such an epic lens!
You are such a joyful, happy guy! I was in Sweden years ago and really loved the sunny disposition of the Swedes. Iceland is also a neat place. Your video was fantastic, with beautiful, artistic colors, editing, and smooth gimbal use. I tried the Z crane 2 but could not get my Sony a6600 with zoom lens to balance on it. Am thinking of the Weebill S. Again, absolutely, your film making is a model for all of us.
Thank you! 😃 Means alot! :)
Dude your videos are getting better in a insane speed. Congrats for reaching 5k by the end of the year (cuz I know you will)
Thank you big time!! I'm on it :)
Sony and that lens! Love that set up 😃✌️
Love it!
I could not agree with you more!! What a surprise this lens has proven to be...especially with landscape!
So good indeed!
This was beautiful my friend!! The intro was so wonderful and the photos you got from the shoot are rad too!
thank you so much and thanks for watching!
Look forward to watching this when I get home from work! The a6300 + 16mm 1.4 is just 😍 sad I sold mine 😢
Tack!! ❤☺
Absolute breathtaking shot at 00:38
Thanks!
Great channel thank you ill be grabbing this sigma lens and the a6600 sony!!
Want the same
Great video man! I have that lens and it's such a great lens, very useful even though it's a "wide" lens it looks great in a lot of different scenarios! Keep up the great work on your videos man really enjoy them 👌
Such a fun lens indeed really love it! Thanks for dropping a kind comment!
Finally a good photographer!!!🔥
Spot on content mate, I really like the vibe of this video! Subscribed!!
Thanks for watching! :)
Your videos are really informative and fun to watch, also great video quality even with APS-C body with simple collection of lens. You got new subscriber!! Greeting from Japan🙌
Thanks !! Welcome to the channel :) Yea don't really need the best gear to create content
Agreed. Beautiful shots..
thank you!
Man, that is like a perfect setup for me. I love my a6300 for video and photo, although Natalie has just bought be a Pentax dslr that I have been craving for some time which I will start using for photography and keep a6300 and a5100 for video only. Also, after watching this, I have literally just ordered the same lens and I cannot wait to use it. Might not be stabilised but with the gimble that we use that is no issue and the f/1.4 is just sooooo nice and buttery smooth...
yes it is indeeed! It's nice to have a few camaeras - I want a 2nd camera 2020 :) thanks for watching!
Very creative and so glad to see that confidence
Thank you Arif!
10 seconds in and had to drop a SUB. Keep it up man!!
Thank you! Welcome to the community!
Nice vlog! Like the fast pace which make it easy to digest
Thank you! And thanks for watching :)
Mate, you look absolutely crazy, In terms of giving the tips. Love your work bro.
I'm so jealous your shooting locations (Iceland or Sweden?) have such relaxed drone laws. In Canada it's a nightmare! Amazing video man keep going :-)
Im from Iceland but atm I live in Sweden, but I'm often in Iceland tho taking care of my grandma 👵
I’m jealous you live in such a dope city and can get those amazing shots!
Hahah thanks Brandon! Where do you live?
I live in northwest Florida on the beach, so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much haha. I just love cities and street photography.
Hahaha my man that's awesome! So many days I dream about summer and warmth - it never happens here lol
Vá hvað þetta er flott video, og gjeguð myndavel og cool BANGERS!!!❤❤
🙏❤😊
Great photos mate. I've got the same lens/camera setup. Questions if I may:
1) Were you using the sigma 16mm to also film the video itself?
2) how did you avoid having grainy images with ISO higher than 400?
3) what picture profile are you using here?
Cheers
Thanks! I was using a mix of the few lenses that I have to film the video. I don't get that grainy images at that ISO, it's at tlike 1000+ when I start to notice it, but even then you can remove a lot of it in LR. I film in cine4 :)
That train photo at 5:40 is amazing that’s my favorite 😁
Thanks!! :) It was a quick shot
Frick me your stuff is excellent man! Keep it coming love this channel!
Also just bought your LUT pack and LR preset pack (thumbs up)
thank you big time for the support!! means a lot :) and for the kind words aswell :)
Of course it's cold, you live in freakin Iceland! Great style to your vid.
Thanks man! I actually live in Sweden at the moment, but it's freaking cold there too lol
Those shots were incredible! Great work again :)
Thank you! :)
Best 16mm video ever, nice and crispy as water :) It's my lense with a6400. I love it.
Super nice lens indeed! Thanks for watching! :D

YESSS!! DANKE MEIN MANN! Next stop 10k!
Hey Man, greetings from Germany! I really like your Colorcorrection along the Video and you take dope shots of your mate too! The Sigma Lens is killing the bokeh too, this was a gift of a video with the extra bit of handyness with your funny accent! Enjoyed it and stoked to see more. Instant sub from me. Keep it up! Cheers
Danke mein mann!! Happy you liked the content, really like producing it so it means a lot to me that ppl are enjoying it :)
Germany, Deutschland ist echt ein schönes Land.
dude the edit is on point,.vid is informative and funny at the same time 😂 you listed all your equipment in the description except for your luts...which luts do you use because the colors are amazing.. greetings from Croatia
I use my own LUTs and color grade everything myself :) Thank you for the comment means a lot!
Cant wait to get this setup in a few weeks
It's the bomb
Teebiskit did you just purchased a6300 ?
Dope work! I have an a6400 with this lens that I rarely use because I have an a7iii. You’ve motivated me to use it again. And also stop down lol
Such a nice setup, soooo light weight :) I went to fast?
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. No I love that you didn’t shoot the lens wide open. Most UA-camrs say to go wide open but the photos aren’t usually shar wide open.
Some great shots, I have the 30mm and I love it but I Think the 16mm will be my next lens
Thanks! It's a great lens for sure!
The editing is so good😳❤️
waiting on my 16mm to ship! love it.
keep it up
Great, great photos! Going yo buy this lens for Canon M6 Mark 2.
Congrats on hitting 5K subscribers :)
Sweeeeet setup!! Thank you big time! 👊☺
You just made up my mind. Im buying that lens for the m50
Does anyone know why my sigma 16mm f1.4 with a6400 can auto focus close, but not back far when I move the object or myself back to the original spot? I tried AFC wide and a few other modes and potential fixes to no avail. If anybody knows the exact issue let me know!
Never had that problem, if I have and I find out why I'll let you know!

Amazing shots my man, also enviable beards you got over there!
I think this is will be my next lens.
It's a great lens, youll like it for sure! thanks for watching :)

I'm a new subscirber here 👋and I find myself binge watching your videos! i I'm just curious which among these wide lenses do you prefer to use or recommend? thank you 🤗
Make sure your hot shoe cover on the camera during rain, my a6300 burn because of one drop of rain!
great tip indeed! never had a problem myself tho.
Such a great shoot!
thank you!
Hey man! Amazing video! Wanna ask 1 question. I have an a6000 and a sigma 30mm. What should I buy next for street and fastion photography for instagram? 16 or 56mm sigma? What do you recommend? Thank you so much
Thanks for watching! Hmmm... Well though choice, i like 16mm for architectures and buildings but the 56mm is fantastic for portraits.
Hej Kompis! Will put this in english because the channel is in english. But man, I just loooooove the way you create videos and photos of everything, super duper nice man! I also just love your drone videos of the city, something that I want to try start get better at soon I hope. Well man, super awesome videos and hopefully one day we meet and ill be you a beer! Keep it up man, super awesome!
Tack gubben! Jo jag pratar svenska :) Absolut, bor du i sthlm?
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Haha grymt!

THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Island, magiskt vackert där ju! Njut om du kan! Absolut jag drar ett DM på Insta sen ikväll! Super snällt! Stort tack!!!
Hey! Awesome video, as always! Was wondering if you noticed that the lens was hunting A LOT when you use autofocus while shooting at 120 fps? I have a lot of problems with video quality with the A6300 when I shoot at 120 fps . Does it do the same for you maybe?
Did not notice, really happy with the lens :) Thanks for watching, the one thing I've noticed tho is that the autofocus is noisy, but I use manual focus a lot when filming so it's a-ok
@@thaticelandicguy Thank you for your answer and videos. Keep em coming!
After I bought my first camera, your channel is one of the most channel i seen.
Lots of information, love your preset. What’s your preset in this video. Can i have the name of it in your page ?
Damn that reflection shot in the alley (of old town maybe) 👌👌👌 MINT!
Yes the old town! :)
YOU ARE EPIC MY FRIEND!!!! definitely follow
big thanks!!
Hi That Island Guy! I recently bought an Sony a6600 with an 16-70 Zeiss f4 and a 35mm f1.8. Now I stumbled upon the Sigma 16mm 1.4. Do you think it is necessary? Or will I be fine with my Zeiss for now for street shooting? Thanks in advance! Keep up the good work.
Youll definitely will be fine wirh rhe 16-70 (: unless you have the money to spare I'd stick with the lenses you have. Thanks for watching!
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Thanks man 👍
I like the colour grading for this video.. 🔥🔥🔥..
Thanks to your vid, just bought this lens today for my a6300. Where do I send the finders fee?
Thanks for watching! :) Hhaha
thanks for your channel! its so helpful! i wonder what camera did you use here for recording the video?
Hi, would you make a video about how you color grade your videos? Your colors are great!😍
Getting tons of questions about it, I will in the near future for sure! :) Thanks for watching btw!
I like your videos’ colour grading. What a beautiful city! Is it in Iceland?
OK, it's official, I'm buying this lens for my GH5!
Woop woop! You'll like it!
Which should I buy sigma 56mm f1. 4 or this 16 mm for portrait photography and videography??
56mm is a nicer focal lenght for portraits imo.
fantastic, love the style of the vlog and pacing! great lense too! :P
Thanks! The lens is a beast for sure :)
Super brooo 16mm 🤩🇮🇹🖐🏽🖐🏽
Thanks!! 😎
nice shoots, just got this lens a month ago and love it. Greetings from China.
Nice to see chinese here! :) Hope all is well - yess the lens is so so good, really love it. + I don't hate that it is not exspensive haha :)
Nice video. I liked it. Happy New Year from a fellow engineer in WA State, USA.
Thanks for the comment and watching ☺ happy new year!
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Thanks.
THAT ICELANDIC GUY. Let me know if you ever visit Seattle, WA.
You deserve more, subscribed.
Agree! Hahah thank you ❤
for outdoor shoots, do you prefer to shoot with the sigma trio or the sony 16-55? Can that zoom really replace the sigma in quality?
I got my great shot with this lens, and the results is fantastic at my new video test, all footage filmed with Sony A6400 +sigma 16mm with Cine4 PP.
1:34 That's the face I usually make when it's autumn/winter/spring and I wake up and realise that I'm still living in Stockholm and it's cold and gray 😞
👍
Lovely video. Planing to visit Iceland and perhaps bring my 16mm with me..or should I go for 18-105? :) Beautiful shoots butaway... Greetings from Tenerife *
Can you bring both? :)
In such a city you don't need a model. City is a model it self.
Very nice! Please tell about video. Is this 4k? S log?
Thanks! It's 4k and cine4. The slow motion shots are FHD and upscaled to 4k :)
@@thaticelandicguy Thank you very much!👍👍👍

Do you have your own custom cine 4 profile that u use or is it just the default cine 4 profile? Thanks!
I change it up a little if I remember right :)
Really great video!! cheers. I will purchase this lens for my sony 6300 :-) thanks for sharing :-)
What kind of photo editing did you use? Was it photoshop or light room? Thank you.
Мужик я не фанат Sony, но очень понравилась твоя доброта и позитив. Подписался.
Great video! Thanks. What variable ND filter do you recommend for this lens?
Omg! I just watched your 18-105 video! I can't decide between sigma 16mm 1.4 and sony 18-105 help! I only have the kit lens and also a6300
they are so different I dno what I would choose if I didn't have either
@@thaticelandicguy I'll probably do more photo work... and I visit a lot of abandoned places where 16mm and very sharp is actually pretty nice:0
So kinda architecture I guess and landscapes are also what I like... especially stuff during night
But I also want to make like a little horror movie and I think the 18-105would be nice too
@@petermuller5896 I have had the 18-105 for a long long time and have a lot of experience with it and it's a great lens!
@@thaticelandicguy >< i know! But... images... images are what in aiming on.. I had both of them tested and I felt pretty amazed by the Sigma 16mm even though it has no zoom.. I couldn't keep my hands off if it lol.
The 18-105 feels very like..."heavy quality"😂 as someone told me once in a video🙄its pretty steady and OSS is nice too.. but yk... it's just hard to decide and my hands are pretty steady I think hahah
I'm going to sell my Lumix g7 with all of its lenses that I have just to take a6300 + sigma 16mm.. I hope im not going to do sth wrong, whats your opinion?
can't really answer that question sorry, never used the Lumix G7.
But I've had the a6300 for 3 years now and I love it .)
I sell my g7 for a sony a6300, sony a6300 has better video, better autofocus, better build, and of course better sensor.
Panasonic GH5/G7/G85 > Sony/Canon/Nikon/other brands
@@LuisFelipeBustilloVelasquez I've read for the build quality and the video codecs that a6300 and all alfa series which are not the 7th one, that they are totally horrible - they are overheating, the video quality is good only on 4k where they are overheating in 20 mins or even faster if the place is hot.. And the 1080p is with the quality of sth like clean 720p which sounds really bad. So for now I decided to stay with g7 and go for g9 or wait till I can afford sth like a7s II or a7 III...
buy the a6400 or a6500 instead if price aint too different from the a6300.
Hey! Awesome photographs!!! I just got my a6400. What focusing technique do you use? Do you have/use eye-af?
Thank you, I use auto focus, flexible spot :)
hi what's the difference between sigma 16mm vs 30mm both are f/1.4 right what's so special in sigma 16mm?? please tell me because i'm gonna buy sigma 16mm
Those are some sick shot! Do you get distortion on the sigma 16mm lens ?
Thanks! Yes a little
I have a doubt. Is it weather resistant ?. I have a sigma 56 mm with a6600. That combination was good but I need a wider lens, So I decided to buy this sigma 16 mm. And this video really helped me. Thanks brother.
