    You said "I don't know if it was something I did". You're correct. It was something you said (you mentioned the issue a few videos ago). She heard you and courteously delivered.

      @@MomentofZed Do you know what the problem is when the temperature of the air is not getting any warmer, even when the car is up to temperature? I got a Z3 2,2

    • @MomentofZed
      @MomentofZed  11 місяців тому +1

      @zlover7777 are you getting resistance when you twist the temperature knob? The linkage to the flap that controls the entrance of heated air is a known failure point.

    Mark, Well done! I can imagine you use the AC / blower all summer on high speed, so that blower is a must! Many thanks for the very informative video! 😀

    Sup mark! Also in Florida here (Clearwater). AC hasn't worked since I bought my lil one. Decided to take on the job of replacing the evaporator in the 92 degree July heat. Fun stuff!

    Cleaning contacts? Use something cheap since you're using sandpaper too. Those wd40 nozzle bottles are a pain and will fail after a few actuations back and forth, then it just sprays everywhere except where you point it. A barrel of laughs for whoever designed it.
    What I do enjoy, are your videos. Look forward to each and every one. Someday I'll share my ZED with you which I'm slowly fixing up but still driving every day.
    Cheers!

    Hey Mark, recently my Z3 has had a burning oil smell, any ideas or should I just take it in?
    It's a 98 with 83k miles

    • @MomentofZed
      @MomentofZed  Рік тому

      I'd first look for a leak that is hitting the exhaust manifold. Sure about the smell? Mine smells burnt occasionally, but its a small gap between the two exhaust system sides.
