You said "I don't know if it was something I did". You're correct. It was something you said (you mentioned the issue a few videos ago). She heard you and courteously delivered.
@@MomentofZed Do you know what the problem is when the temperature of the air is not getting any warmer, even when the car is up to temperature? I got a Z3 2,2
@zlover7777 are you getting resistance when you twist the temperature knob? The linkage to the flap that controls the entrance of heated air is a known failure point.
@@MomentofZed I get resistance turning, also the knob itself is loose. But I I feel it turn.. also the AC is not working even though it is been filled in June. I got the car since Sunday so I don't know exactly if it thats true. What could this be?
Mark, Well done! I can imagine you use the AC / blower all summer on high speed, so that blower is a must! Many thanks for the very informative video! 😀
Sup mark! Also in Florida here (Clearwater). AC hasn't worked since I bought my lil one. Decided to take on the job of replacing the evaporator in the 92 degree July heat. Fun stuff!
Cleaning contacts? Use something cheap since you're using sandpaper too. Those wd40 nozzle bottles are a pain and will fail after a few actuations back and forth, then it just sprays everywhere except where you point it. A barrel of laughs for whoever designed it. What I do enjoy, are your videos. Look forward to each and every one. Someday I'll share my ZED with you which I'm slowly fixing up but still driving every day. Cheers!
I'd first look for a leak that is hitting the exhaust manifold. Sure about the smell? Mine smells burnt occasionally, but its a small gap between the two exhaust system sides.

At least I've got one that listens!
Another great piece of money saving Z content. Thank you 🙏🏾
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video showing cleaning rather than replacing.
Best way to go to start out!
I just bought a 2000 Z3 and your videos have been so helpful!
Glad to hear that! Congratulations and thanks for watching!

Thanks for your videos! The WD40 did the trick.

Very true! Thank you Walter!
I’m glad it just needed to be cleaned! Nice tutorial 👍🏼
Thank you!

Sounds painful! Hope it worked out!
Mark: Good job on reviving your old blower motor.
Donald: Great job on resurrecting your barn find, well done....
Thank you!
Thankyou so much!

Thank you for the kind words! Look forward to seeing it!
Muchisimas gracias, cuando el ventilador dejó de funcionar mi cabeza pensó en muchos dolares, pero gracias a su ayuda fue solo 1 hora de mi tiempo.
Muy bien! Me alegro!
The same thing happened to me and I changed it for a used one and it didn't work I hope with this trick it works thank you very much Marco
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Ironically I did this job two weeks ago. My Zed is same colour as yours. Tony in UK. Have you got any videos on handbrake adjustment?
Not yet unfortunately! I do them as mine wears out! Brakes in the future definitely.
Hello Great video - Do you have the link to the removal of the housing and the wipers? Thanks

is there a set of contacs under that coil? good video again :)
Thanks! Yes, believe so. If you need a close look, clink on the Amazon link, you should be able to see different views and zoom in.
Hey Mark, recently my Z3 has had a burning oil smell, any ideas or should I just take it in?
It's a 98 with 83k miles

Do you have a tutorial for jacking the entire Z3 up? I want to flush transmission fluid and don’t know how to jack the entire car up.
I dont but check out coolcat Terri's video: ua-cam.com/video/zanHlpfLzvM/v-deo.html
The person i got mine from said he "left the door open" so it blows cold air even if its turned off. How do i fix this? Any tips
Do you mean the temperature control?
@@MomentofZed yes on the temp control I will have it turned off and it will still blow cold air. You can hear the fan on at all times.
