- CarX has responded to the F40 bodykits issue and has as of yesterday removed the F40 to fix the issues. They will add the F40 back after fixes.

Hopefully this bad situation ends up being good for the game.. The devs work with more 3D artists, many would love to, we get loads of new kits, no license issues in the future, everyone wins! 🙏
They won't multiple people reach out before to create maps for the game for free, even modding devs reached out to the devs with a simple fix to fix the lobby crashing/hacking issue. 2 years later, nothing and still "we are looking into it"

But it is content that is stolen if you were the creator of a body kit which took probably more than 10 hrs to make and a big corporation just stole it would you not try and get it removed or the issue resolved? Car X has just TEMPORARILY removed the car in order to resolve the issue. You can't get mad at them for doing bad things and then getting mad at them for RESOLVING the issues.

@saurajrathod7044 I don't see anyone complaining about the 'stolen' F40, or the 'stolen' Rocket Bunny, Liberty Walk, etc. bodykits. The only reason this has become this big of an issue is because a UA-camr (Goosiest) 'influenced' all these kids to go yell at the devs.

when you’re a multi billion dollar company, a much smaller company adding your car or cars into a game without their permission while also not slandering the company isn’t exactly their top priority. a small 3d artist who spent hours of their learning how to use 3d software and many more hours of their life creating a 3d model of a body kit on a car which a said game company just steals without so much as asking for permission or paying to use it is just scummy and shows their users where their morals are
Id you change the name of the car, and remove the badges then tachnically it isnt stealing (I know it's dumb), but for a private bodykit withoit a lisence for it, it is basically stealing as the creator didnt intend it to be used in a game

Goose, don't listen to these morons. If it were their asset that got stolen, people like the dude that commented would probably sue the shit out of the developers, he has that kind of vibe. Creators deserve to be credited and compensated for their work, and whoever is angry at you or anyone who points out to mistake and especially theft should be completely ignored and should take a good look in the mirror and think about their morals and actions.

This whole thing is just stupid. 3D modeler upset a car took a design of a vehicle he doesn't own that has been sitting online for years, changed it a little bit and released it as an update.
Then the comments here LOL even worse.
I’m sure if one of your friends took something sitting on the shelf of your room, even if you hadn’t touched it in years, you’d be upset about the fact that they’re blatantly disrespecting you by taking an object of yours without your consultation.
It’s simply a matter of principle - nobody, especially not an organization like the CarX owners, should be involved in such activity.

I make mods for one of the biggest games, Grand Theft Auto 5 and have been for the past 5 years.
My work gets stolen and sold constantly, stuff I release for free. Its the internet, I understand things like this happen. People also like to make ideas based off other ideas, nothing wrong with that and "credit" is not needed, especially when using a vehicle from a brand you don't own, and will throw you under the bus quicker than anything.
The CarX vehicle wasn't even a 1to1, they only removed it to save themselves from the small amount of backlash.
If Rockstar used my vehicle in their game, I would not care at all. I would be honored and excited they used my work, especially if its years old.
@@AxelZara you are an individual modeler and CarX is a large corporate organization, if a large corporation took your work you would be allowed to sue them for plagiarism of your work. What you are referring to is nowhere close to this situation.

With the bodykits They never stole assets. They copied the design. Which is kind of the whole point of the game. Like pretty much all designs, from cars to bodykits and other mods in the game aren't original and none of the original creators or owners get any credit. Why is this one random dude suddenly different??!!
All this "creator" and goosiest really did with their complaining was ruin part of the game....

@@Goosiest that they're not stealing assets. They copied the design and made their own (worse) model. They're stealing assets from this guy just as much as they're stealing assets from RocketBunny or Ferrari or any other obvious copies that are in the game.
Which is to say theyre not stealing assets at all. In pretty much all these cases they made copies of existing designs made by other people/companies. (As far as I know)
Like driving and modifying unlicensed copies of existing stuff is pretty much the whole point of the game, don't really see how this dude that made these bodykits is any different from all the other people they "stole" from....
RocketBunny is fine by games taking their bodykits due to publicity. This is however not always going to be the case when you use other people's work, simply ask for permission, takes a minute or two to avoid any problems.

Like you can argue about the grey area of imitation they're operating in but if we're gonna start removing everything not designed by the devs from the game there won't be much left ...
Also personally IDGAF about asset stealing. (Not that carX is doing that) Like 90% of the mods I (we) use in AC had their models ripped from some other game or something....
@@zwenkwiel816so you personally don’t understand the concept behind digital theft - just because you personally refuse to see what’s wrong with what CarX did, doesn’t mean there is nothing wrong. The developer could’ve chosen to escalate this and make it a legal matter, if they really wanted to. There is a clear line between copying a publicly available design which has been replicated in numerous environments, versus snooping into an average internet users repository and copying a design from there - that is illegal, since you are clearly unaware of that.
Those drifting with the F40 looks so SMOOTH, it looks different from all those "smooth drifting videos".
A similar F40 is also in the game : Drive zone online

Fyi:carx does not using stollen asset on carx drift only if you play carx street and using s15 you can change body kit to street x that same as liberty walk s15 body kit

I just got on 2 days ago after the update and I had lost all my money, levels and progress for some reason. All I had to do was level up and unlock the cars again and I still had all of my livery’s but none of my tunes sadly. Kinda weird

Today I went to play carx. The f40 was removed ok, so I play offline and they release the 2 new car and not in the moded version I thought they deleted it 🤔

I love car x, I’ve been playing since the first one released on mobile devices and it holds a special feeling for me. I play car x drift racing all the time on my switch cause I think it’s one of the best car games on there but I realized they are horrible at communicating with their fans when car x street released. I downloaded it and started playing and I thought it was so cool but it got extremely hard because the ai were just so unfair that it was hard to enjoy the game, I remember going to their comments and a ton of other people were mentioning that along with a variety of other issues like the game crashing. I did experience the crashes too. I waited for a long time and they never did anything about the ai and from what I can remember about the crashing at the point I just gave up and uninstalled the game. And don’t get me started on the pc release date that was slated for 2021 that just completely vanished and still isn’t even available in 2024🙄
