I am amazed to see you running between houses to have to try and keep up your schedule!!
Alright mate!
Liking the video’s, super cool!😊
Great video mate
So enjoyed watching this. Always wondered why couldn’t have same route every day so know it plus customers know you too. Well done bud
I believe they don’t have same route so that the DSP don’t argue about you having a easier route then us etc. so they shuffle routes so everyone is happy
I deliver for amazon and I asked my boss about why we don't get the same route every day he said it's because you will get to know it and finish to fast people doing 8 hour routes in 5 hours amazon don't like
Great vid!
Thanks!
Nice to see you back out mate. Have you noticed lots of things are marked up wrong, like, envelopes marked as book folders and visa versa? Also, has your DSP stopped marking things off in the office for you, like when pins are wrong or the customer comes and meets you. We now have to call driver support, to a call center in India.. 😂🤦♂️
Another great vlog , be interesting to see how many steps etc you do in a day
I work a corporate job for Amazon in Ireland... so cool to see another perspective.
Great to see you back Zac, great video as always, looking forward to the one that’s going to work out calories burnt etc
Take care,stay safe mate
How’s your back now?
Been binge watching these videos, hella interesting on how/ what delivery drivers have to do
Thanks for watching Johnnie haha it’s nice to know
Them front doors take an absolute battering bet they are nakered after a year
Brutal job that tbh fair play to them that do it full time i couldnt do it
Love the vid man, I'm starting next week! How/when do you eat or get a break during your day? Something I am wondering before I start!
hows it going or how did it go?
Love these videos lad keep it up
I work for SJ Bargh on the rigid tankers collecting milk from farms, delivering them to dairies. (i actually do 2 runs into Mortons dairy in Maghull some days) Shame i can't take you along for the ride. would be an epic video (work would not allow) would have been a great opportunity to get you onto dairy farms! very challenging driving conditions at times!
I bet! Thanks for commenting - sounds interesting!
I load my bags all on the bottom drivers 1st then the rest on back right shelf, then address order all mine while in the depot 180 stops in 6 hours
People always sound so happy answering the door …
1:27 not bro lowkey hitting the curb there lmao
👀 illusion
Hi Zac,
Good to see you back, hope your backs feeling alright now, nothing worse 😕
Have you ever worked for dpd ?
Or can anyone else give an honest comparison between the two?
I’m thinking about it 👀
I’ve done Amazon for 2 years, give Ocado a try! Got my training day tomorrow
Good luck, thinking of it
@@ZacJonesUA-camdon’t bother mate. The pay is rubbish compared. Ocado pay peanuts
Is it the same as flex where if you leave it somewhere you have to take a photo? Great videos by the way mate!
Hi mate, I really enjoy your UA-cam videos on Amazon prime delivery. I’m very interested in getting into this job. I don’t have a clue where I can pick up a DSP?
Amazing video pls do a love q+a
More longer Amazon video and i also like your amazon video
More amazon videos please
btw if thats ur normal van i dunno if you know this but there is carplay on the van ur using only if thats ur van u use everyday i dunno if u do that type of stuff at amazon but if you plug ur phone into the van it will come up with carplay that will have ur maps on the screen itself and then when u are at a drop unplug and repeat?
Lad would you not do Ocado? The depot is round the corner and almost certain you'd like it more. Absolute breeze in comparison.
100% agree
Yh I work for Ocado it’s really good tthere
Ocado is kinda rubbish pay
Ocado is like making a deal with the devil
Ocado is WHACK
what time does your day start? and do you find it hard to find parking often?
Zac lad - have you considered doing a worlds first video of recording a full route? I’d imagine you’d need a reliable chest mount action like a DJI Action 3 and a few spare batteries.
Might even draw a few asmr lovers too 🧐
Can't believe you get away with just 9 overflow 😂😂😂😂. Had 27 overflow few days ago. Like your videos man. 💪💪💪Nice one. Thumbs up from fellow delivery driver. agreed about Everything comes from the way route is build, areas where you visiting. Got route 156 stops few weeks ago finished it perfectly. Next day 140.. got late 45 minutes over finishing time 😔. Everything comes from the route.
Do you keep the Amazon van at your house or not as you were in the van before arriving at the depot?
Hey if someone was deactivated from Amazon flex app, can they still become an Amazon DSP driver ? Thanks
If it’s just for the vid I’d defo get on the flex. Recently been earning 55- 65 for a 3 hour block that often takes half that to complete. Absolute gift compared to the vans
Get sent miles away though do you not
Sometimes, tho u start to get to know what slots are further away and if u befriend the warehouse folks u can ask them for routes that suit u or even swap with other drivers. Also some times further away can be better bc less stops and easier shift, even if u spend a lil more on fuel. I’d say only 1/7 routes I’d be sent further than I would’ve agreed to going but can still be worth if it paid the right amount for the block
Just a bit of information on the dmartt watch, i use one when on shift because I wanted to know how mnay steps and calories i would burn etc, thing is, everytime you drive and your hand moves the wheel etc it records steps so ive found it highly unreliable 😢 let me know how you find it and if yku find a better method of tracking it.
great Zac mini route how many parcels ?bags can have one or !!!! various coloured bags you make it look easy bro...
About 15 during peak times
back on it then
Do you have to pay for the van and fuel ? I did this job about 8 years ago and we had to pay fuel and van every 2 weeks
25:40 genuinely it’s so dependent on the route, my old route was stretched so far across different towns in Leeds, loads of tower blocks, high streets and I’d struggle to finish 120 stops by 7 but my new route Ive been doing 170 stops and finishing before 5, it’s crazy.
AMAZON parasites / leeches DONT EMPLOY Van Drivers , CLASS1 NI/ TAX hoiliday pay + ssp pay , AMAZON best avoided subby/ ltd self employed rip , off , con . £11-£12 hour lol. SELF EMPLOYED RIP OFF/ CON . YOU do work they reap rewards .
Hi Zac, love ya videos mate. I have a question for ya, im starting training tomorrow as an Amazon delivery driver (DSP uk), can you tell me if they supply safety boots and hi viz vest? Hope you see this! x
Most DSPs just provide Hi Vis Vests, safety shoes you’ll have to get yourself or just ask your DSP if they can provide you with that
What was your keys on when you was going to the customers doors
get on the flex lad, hard to get a block these days with the satuation of drivers though
😂
same as most delivery firms you have to "cheat" the system and forego breaks to semi finish on time its about time vans were on tachographs to stop these companies taking the pure piss
Makes no difference tacho vans u put your van on break we’re you have loads of jobs with in walking distance and as long as you don’t move it stays on break 30 minutes and then 15 later on or 45 in one go so when your digi card is downloaded it looks like you have taken a break
Yes until they compare the digital card data with the delivery data .Years ago was possible with manual receipts . I been in the job 35 years Currently with Dhl
@@paulatkins499 these vans are not on tachos thats the point
You would definitely smash flex.. 180 stops vs 27 stops lol... but the mileage on your car will rack up tho
Thank you for your great video shooting during working. May I ask do you have lunch breaks and what tondo if you need toilets? Going to start as a delivery driver of dsp
Hmm… you’ll figure that out real soon 🤣👀
damn thats a super easy day pretty much get 160 drops a day in cardiff
Hi zac
Was thinking seriously about becoming an Amazon driver self employed. Would you recommend it?
You should do Uber eats, deliveroo, just eat out the car mate as a series couple days a week
Hi Zac, how did you apply?😊
Just fnished my last week doing this in the states after 2 years! headed to the Military now! Coast Guard! CRAZY you guys have to put on boots in the warehouse lol we never did that, also they give us decent android phones to use which helps a lot/
Great video just a quick question do you get the same van every shift
Yeah
I don’t, but you will if unlike me you do more than one day a week
Hello zac I comment quite a lot on your videos as I do amazon myself here's a question do you follow the route in amazon's order or do you look at the map and do it in your own order me personally I look at the map and do it the way I want to i find it faster than following amazon's sequence plus you don't end up on the same road 2 or 3 times lol
I usually follow the route my man!
Ok I don't know how the routing is at your depot but at mine I'll look at my device and say for instance stops 23 24 and 25 are in a row then on the way to stop 26 your driving past say stops 87 88 that's what I don't like that's why I do the route in my own order I won't drive past them I'll pull up and find the parcels for them stops out and do them
I got a watch from Amazon to do this, I average 13.5k steps, around 800 calories and a 114 HR
Hahaha. Google map does all the measures for free all day
Easy Job Easy Money No Need To Stress Take It Easy And Drive Safe That’s My Best Tip!
No stress haha. Come deliver down london
Great attitude
I always get told not to log in until we are at the loading bays. Why is that? No ones ever said why. What difference does it make if we log in before we get to the depot or not? Can you help me with this one? I’ve ben doing Amazon for a couple weeks now.
Not too sure, some kind of metrics
It’s because management can shuffle who’s on what route but once you log in they can’t shuffle yours if they wanted another driver on it or you on another one
You can log in but don't click 'start work' until you start loading, because that's when your 9.5hrs starts. The earlier you click start work the less time you have to complete the route before the app locks you out.
Do you keep the van ??
How you been to go en Cordoba Veracruz Mexico
Tracking said I was the next stop then I watched the amazon driver on my doorbell camera drive straight past my house. The tracking still says its out for delivery
1- app many times is wrong
2- the driver is doing stops manually
3- could be completely different driver coming to yours
How long do you usually work per day mate, time for lunch and that?
Yeah time for lunch man 8 hours ish
Hiya m8 What hours do you work from getting to Amazon to jumping in your car to go home ? And how much do you earn on a average shift just trying to work out the ACTUAL wage please 😊
Lol 11 out the car 6/7 back in it
I used to pack at amazon those envelopes u had to do 400 an hour mate
Yo how much data do you use for Amazon and dominoes when u r delivering? I.e to use google maps.
I worked for Hermes, same kind of thing. Very little. I used a PAYG sim with 3gb per month and nothing anywhere near it. Im by far from a techie but Im sure you need data to get the app going and the SATNAV element is run from GPS.
Who even asks questions like this in 2023 😂
I have absolutely no idea hahaha
About 500mb per day
Feel like your suited to the taxis you’ll enjoy it more and your content will be better
Do it zac
how did you apply ?
Ello gov'nor, you ever feel knackered driving this vehicle ?
Yeah man
Do u only need a normally licence to drive these vans ?
One question what If you lost your phone or your phone is damaged what do you do?
Buy new phone??
Them drivers doors take an absolute battering bet they are nakered after a year haha
Hi Zac your videos are very interesting how much do you get for each parcel you deliver? I heard it was £1 and also could i donthis part time mate , keep up with the video's 👌👌👌👌👌
Thats dpd or fastway. Amazon pays 110£ per day
@@checkmate-24 what about yodel?
I think i could just about cope doing 1 day a week
The problem with Amazon they give you far to many parcels to deliver the dude is only in the nursery!
And when you stop for a break?!
When you came back as an amazon driver did you had to redo the training ride along
Yeah!
More than 3 months gone yea
Hi. Where do you eat your lunch and where to go to toilet?
In the van. ( bottles or fields). Good luck for nr 2 in toilet
What’s the day rate for Amazon?
99
omg 9 bags 9 overflow hahahaha cant stop laugh is that your first day? Please upload an video in 2 weeks lol
Get a powerbank to charge your devices while you’re out.
GET A PORTABLE charger bank. Itssss the gem. You stick on it and can even take it when u scan or deliver at doors. Life savers. Keep in there for 30 min . U done
Hi, how to apply for Amazon delivery driver ? are there good earnings ?
110£ day
hey bro, ive been trying to become a delivery driver for some weeks now and I have no luck in getting the job. Please could you share some links or some advice on how to get accepted. So far ive been ignored on emails, indeed and through phone calls. Ive subscribed to you for ages and always wanted to do this job the second i turned 18 and left school. if you have any networking it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you bro for the sick content.
What city are you in! Ask an Amazon driver for his boss’ number
No DSP's want to take you on because you're in your late teens, the insurance is too high.
@@i3az guess my area is lucky, I'm 18 and have recently started and there was a couple of other 18/19 year olds at my training
@ZacJonesUA-cam thank you bro I got in now, took a while but I'm in the game 😎
@@megacontroller2657 could you help me out bro ? Trying to do the same thing as you
Put them on the shelf, and work then from shelf lol
I thought same but he doesnt have the middle door from the cabin and i dont blame him
Actually he has itt. Hahaha so dumb
@@checkmate-24he has but they are closed
I have question to you mate at the moment any DPS menagers supervisors can't answer mayby you know ? Why English people have more easy routs then emigrants ?
I’ve heard people say this before, probably think the Romanian and polish guys can take on more work idk - it’s not very fair but not the case in my dsp
@@ZacJonesUA-cam fuck mate I have 350 trips and same payment like guy who start 2 days ago ... all this time I was try be this good guy who waiting for castumers and I was stupid as fuck 😂 I can't fucking do this with 187 stops and 340 parcel 18 bags 41 overflow this matherfucker make me a bad guy who can't be nice for People
Duhhh
I heard a rumour that Amazon drivers can get paid up to £20 per hour, is this possible?
Depends on how quickly you finish your route I believe most of us drivers are paid by the day/route not hour. But £20 an hour is possible at the company I work for
Impossible. Max 15£ can go
Too hard and all the hassle you get, would not do this kind of work. I do long distance, 2 to 4 collection delivery and that's it relax and aim for 150-250 per day.
Hello
Hey you!
You should get your girl to do Amazon deliveries with you makes it easier and you have company
That would make it longer
Resting boxes on cars fuck sake 😂
Do u take tye amazon van home
No
@@ZacJonesUA-cam what company do u work for on behalf of amazon
I don't want to come over as sexist but he has lovely legs I must say.and that keyring swingging like that could do some serious damage if not careful 😉. thanks for the video I enjoyed watching it.positivity peace and love ♥️
You should try being a uber driver
Is the ping pong free
Yeah
I got kicked out of amazon for damaging the van 😢
That’s rough man. Easy to do
Don't understand why you need to run between houses??? Surely they won't penalize you for being a couple of minutes late or whatever? If that's true then mate.... there's more to life then worrying about things like that
Yeah it sure is intense, I left
Asda is so much better bro
I’m going to apply in the next month or two
@@ZacJonesUA-cam good man I’ll be looking forward to seeing the vids, I just started with them after working for Amazon .
@@ZacJonesUA-cam is right mate 😎
Work for Tesco’s better by far than Asda trust me I know.
Ive watched a few of these Amazon driver videos & within about 6 months most have left , so i guess that tells you how crap the job is..
It seems like your just a glorified postman.
Try Tom Pebertons mate, Just before Blackpool . Cool Guy. an Olly Bloggs . Both UA-camrs so easy to find Bro.
I’ll check em out! Thanks Denis
What's your daily rate? mines 117
99 lol 😴
In Liverpool they said 135/150 per day but i have to pass a piss test
