Did this back in 2018, doesn't work, too many overheads and undercutting with courier exchange, sacked it off after subscription ran out, they'll have your life and pay you nothing for it, got a proper job now thank fk!
This is he first video I’m watching now that me and my Mrs have decided that we want to start our own courier service. My current employer literally bring in 5 curtain side Luton vans to help out as our lorry drivers are not reliable throwing thousands away a week lol I want a piece . Thanks for the info I found it very informative Pete
Best way to make money, youtube 😅 courier industry is currently inundated with new drivers paying huge fuel fees for little return. Just take a look at the number of vans going back on sale after a few month
Spot on Pete, I've done it from the employee on the vans, done multi drop in a 7.5 in London. Time to move up, get my own van (will be rental) and cream it.
Hi mate, it’s now November 2022, I know this video is over a year old, but was wondering now fuel prices are sky high.. what is the average price per mile I could charge, I have a MWB sprinter and offer a service for transporting motorcycles and motorcycle recovery, so basically an A to B service…. I don’t want to loose customers by charging too much… but with fuel prices so high I have to increase my mileage charges….. many thanks
Hi pete great video is it worth it hiring a van, if you don't have one,as I am thinking of trying it out,but I have a juke, and would prefer to hire a lwb if its makes sense,my biggest fear is loosing my benefits,if the numbers stack up,I would highly consider doing this job, I have a clean licence.I would appreciate any advice pete cheers
multidrop isnt easy at first? when is it easy lol eg moving a 4 metre van of parcels on the floor in to drop ordet then moving the same 4 metre van load of parcels on to van in drop order then unloading a full 4 metre van of parcels have a break if youre lucky many dont get a break then fill a 4 metre van full of collections then unload a 4 metre can of parcels back at depot and thats if you kbow the route if you dont kbow the route it gets even more difficult etc so a driver has to load or unload a 4 metre van 5 x a day x 5 days = 25 x4 metre van loads of parcels lol so multidrop is difficult or more difficult but not easy lol
Thanks, Domain Name Guy! Trust us, no one is calling multi-drop easy! You can, however, make it somewhat easier with a route planner, such as Circuit ;) - Angela
Domain Name Guy, be interested to hear who your experience with multi drop is with? I’ve only known DPD, high pressure but route management systems largely work quite well. The guys who leave us to go to Amazon tend to prefer it, shorter days and ease of loading.
I love what a LONG story this guy have just to make you signup for an APP.. Damn these days people are really getting creative..trying to sell things. lol.. I loughed so hard watching this video. All this guy is saying i knew it.. worked as a delivery driver all over Europe..but the snicky thing he did with that App made me laugh :)) 1 pound a DROP!?!?!?!? holy shmolllyy my man..cheap as F if you ask me.
Too much hassle for little reward. Reality is Fines, road rage, parking issues, no social life, customers not happy with delivery or collection, lining profits for courier companies, unregulated, like lady luck on location, break down's regularly and all your hard work goes down the drain. This work is not Viable as a business in reality.

Hi David! Pete has a video on what van you should buy. You can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/rPwvTQE3RQA/v-deo.html - Angela
Good for a young person . Not over 40s
Circuit is for every courier! No matter your age
