This is why playing solo all the time sucks. You could be a plat, but get stuck in gold cause your team mates suck and constantly leave you with an entire team to kill. (Edit: I get stuck in plat for the same reasons. In Halo I soloed to Diamond, got stuck there cause I was always solo. I got super close to Onyx solo though. The problem at the higher levels is everyone on the team has their own strats and pushes and they don't cooperate cause everyone has big balls)

I would play with R34_Cod. He has the essence of R6S, passes calls, helps by looking at the cameras, but his knowledge curve in the game is limited. Only time will help him. At least he has the WILL to win and help whoever is carrying the game. The others, zero communication, zero commitment to helping.

Even though he is by far the best on their team, he does not uplift his teammates, he only asks them condescending questions like, “what rank are you?” Making his teammates feel like they are being judged because they are. He lets his emotions get the best of him simply because his teammates are bad. HE is the stereotypical toxic gold player who only assumes how good someone is based off their KD instead of their ability to affect the match as a whole. He gets all the kills, and then he calls his teammates bad. They feel the pressure to perform better because of him, which will affect their gameplay, and he doesn’t say anything to make them feel more confident. I can understand his frustrations with having teammates not as skilled as him. But having a giant ego and insulting them the entire time on and off mic isn’t the way to handle that. I've been playing r6s since the beginning, and this season I uninstalled the game. It's too tiring and stressful to play R6S these days, I felt mentally tired. I've been focusing my free time on playing League of Legends and I believe it's much less stressful.
I somehow got to gold despite not having headphones and having the worst KD out of all my squadmates, they are still bronze and silver somehow and both got headphones. This game has a strange rank and matchmaking system.
