I see you have addressed the cooling issue in other comments but it really is fairly necessary. The ECU will pull timing when it gets too hot. I'm stage 2 single pulley and got the heat exchanger right away at stage 1. I've done several pulls and digs with dual pulley 8.5s. I've beat them every time. We determined the only reason is their ECUs were pulling power. All other mods were similar temp the first time was 75f and the second day we did it was mid 80s. Anyway nice job we have the same color! Cheers 🍻
Thanks! IMO, It depends what your'e after. The RS4 will quickly become a classic and something worth collecting in the future. However, the B8+ S4 stock is just as quick and has a lot more potential for power mods...probably won't be something most people hang on to long term though (that said, this one is never leaving my collection)

Just a recommendation. But take a photo of your car and do it on ms Paint, you'll see what I mean. Again, very nice motor 💪

Thanks! Yes I have the APR TCU tune, APR cooling and AWE track exhaust. With dual pulley, you definitely need to do the TCU and Cooling. Exhaust is up to you - I know someone who is running dual pulley on a stock ehxuast...total sleeper. Granted, might not make quite the same power.
Tyler Kicera and the exhaust. What do I need to do. From cat back or what you think. When I do my tune 450 horse and 60 pound of tork What you recommend?

I have the same grill and wedged in/Gorilla glued heavy duty Styrofoam and then glued the S4 emblem to the Styrofoam. Looks great and It has been about 3 years. Still solid and multiple touchless washes in the winter have not loosened it.

Stage 1 tune only should be fine without additional cooling (do it at your own risk). Dual pulley setups generate high enough EGTs that can damage the cats if exposed long enough. Cooling helps lower IATs which in turn limit the EGTs, so it’s important when running that kit.
I don't recall the price, you can look on APR's website. I have a shop with a lift, so I was able to do it in 3-4 hours taking my time not to miss something.
How did you find the dual pulley was with the B8.5? I heard the 8.5 can only take a single pulley because of a clutch on the supercharger? B8 can do dual though. This was by an APR rep, is he wrong?

@@TylerKicera I use Torque app to monitor the cat temps, they do heat up when you stomp on the car, but they cool down to normal temps fairly quickly. Keep an eye out for any change in exhaust note, or white chunks on the exhaust tips, and misfires, those are tell tail signs...
