It seems the worst thing that happened is deterioration of Brian. Having to change the lead vocal seems more of a problem than replacing guitar or drums. Personal problems and ill fate messed things up for them pretty early on it seems.

I've got this on the B side of my 45 single of Fox On the Run. Funny, I can't find it like this anywhere else. This song wasn't included on Desolation Boulevard until the 2005 re-release as a bonus track. Even there it lists it as the B side to The 6 Teens as some have commented here.

Nice change of beats, fills and tight sequences. Who came up with those? I always loved The Sweet and especially their B sides on a Hacker stereo system (when dad was out)
People, Is that not Robin Zander and Cheap Trick? It's obvious these guys were massively influential to Cheap Trick, Kiss, Ratt, Def Leppard and pretty much every other rock band of the following decade.
He was annoyed about the silver streamers blowing around in rehearsals - producer said "ok we won't use them when we film" but he did - so Steve was pissed off and walked off. The band clearly thought it was funny though.
Wonder why this didn't set the charts on fire....... Sappersonic was a cheap little Mike Mansfield enterprise anyway.....The effects and 'stage props' are just bloody out of this world..
Because, not for the first time, he was being a mardyarse! There were two massive egos in that band and he was one of them ... but luckily it was a backing track, so he wasn't missed ;)

Especially true of Mick since the Musik Laden tapes prove he had some mad drumming skills. I feel like the music industry did that to lots of bands unnecessarily back then though.
the fan thing blowing the strands around behind them, he didn't like it , thought it looked cheap and silly, argued with the producers who finally said they would not use it..but when filming began, they did anyway..that's what I read somewhere..

The A Sides were always (up until 1976 or so) given to the Record Producers, and the band got the B Sides to show what they REALLY sounded like.
