I knew it was going to be gold the moment I saw how clean and polished the front of house was. Those tiles and fridge and clean and stocked then the vender knew his job well, you just know it will deliver. Well done to them.
Heaton Road sandwich shop was the best ever, but it's another one that's closed doon.
If you had gone a bit more north, you could have gone to the Seahorse in Guidepost, for cheesecake and chips (cheese pattie)...it's MASSIVE, or to Charton's, Jackie's son's place, for fish and chips. That's at Cambois (Cammiss), right on the beach up here in Northumberland.
Best chippy in Northumberland is Gorman's in Ashington.
@@joannegray5138 Is that the one in North Seaton? Chips are canny, but the cheesecyek isn't a patch on the Seahorse 😉
@@joannegray5138 Never tried the place at Cambois, is it any good? I've been to The Seahorse quite a few times, it was very cheap and tasty (I think it was £2.30 for kebab butty with chips and a splash). For me the best chippy is the one in Sluice.
@@thegeordieweatherman8460 yes, it's the one in North Seaton. Never had a bad thing from them yet. Massive portions, their onion rings are to die for, and their cheese patties are beautiful. Reasonably priced too. One meal normally does me next day for leftovers, and I'm a big lass. Have to admit, I've never tried the Seahorse, but I love a good.cheese pattie, so I'll put that on my To Do list xx
@@MrScottev I've never tried Charlton's ether, but I'll get round to it. xx
I have no idea how I found this video but I’m so in love with this guy he’s brilliant!
My neck of the woods. Drove past my local pub corner house. Been to that place couple of times it's cracking place.
That was always gonna be a winner. Fair play to the bloke behind the counter too he was super polite and knowledgeable. Definitely the kind of person you want in a local take out 🍻
Newcastle has some nice seaside area's -Tynemouth and Whitley bay are worth a visit
Whitley bay is a shit hole
Can't beat South shields beach ;)
Di Meos Whitley Bay
@@shaunmorrissey7313 eh in what way? when were you last thyere?
@@dylangb6021 oh dear laygate nice place 💩💩💩
Danny, I'm a massive fan of your channel and also a Geordie, can't tell you how pleased I am that Newcastle seems to have come out pretty well in your opinion, great stuff mate, cheers
Such a nice guy taking the order. Naga,,,,oh nnnnnnooooo,,,BBBBOOOOMMM, good luck later when it shows itself again lol
Guy serving knew his stuff, well done. Not like the idiot I met Indian restaurant - Llandudno, when asked about the menu told me "Sorry mate I dont eat this shit", "What do you eat then"? "Macdonalds"....and he was Indian!
Best bait iv had in ages. Next time I'm getting the nachos they look unreal. Glad you enjoyed Newcastle!!
I live approximately 3 mile away from that takeaway and have never heard of them. I will be trying them. Indian food is my favourite! 😻
Danny needs to release an album. Must be a music producer on here that can help him…
I would pay good money for Danny's version of "Stayin' Alive" by the BeeGees - ua-cam.com/video/I_izvAbhExY/v-deo.html 🙂
@Mark Ryan it was clearly a joke haha, lighten up mate.
@Mark Ryan didn’t see the other comments so maybe it’s not a joke then, i guess they’re just trying to be nice if that’s the case
Look at Danny's numbers! 351,000 subscribers, wow! And there's little wonder why he is so popular, he's a natural and so good with people and genuinely enthusiastic about the food and the places he visits. No wonder people are always getting selfies with him!
Truth is if I was behind him in a queue I’d be like “just get on with it!” 😂 love your content, pal. Keep it up!:)
Loving the breaking wind editing. Nice good old fashioned British humour.
I get the impression that when the takeaway staff see the camera and learn who Danny is, they are on their best behaviour and make it a point of being as helpful as possible.
and why wouldn't they although Danny has had a couple of really rude ones serving him. Look at "Trying Chicken & Fish with Rice & Lentils" rude shite
However did you get that impression?!
Was so excited to see my home town on here! The amount of times I've driven down Chilli Road and seen the same sights! Glad the takeout was banging, will have to give it a go
The food looks amazing, the front of house guy was bright, polite & helpful with his advice & service - a breath of fresh air.
I'm going to give it a go!
Watched this a couple of times, not a fan of Indian food, but the guy behind the counter was excellent, the service was spot on, if he keeps giving great service and food, that place will be a popular takeaway for sure
When i travel to Newcastle all the people are nice like this. Good customer service from this man.
Is there a sea side ? It’s some of the best beaches in the UK get yourself to Harbour view for fish and chips in seaton sluice Cod is about 7ft long
Newcastle is 11 miles from the coast! The lovely beaches belong to Sunderland, South Shields and Tynemouth.
Geordies treating you well!!.. Come back soon Danny!
Indians, actually! 🙄
We have just been here, got 2 chicken tikka nans and a lamb tikka nan. Only found out about this place after watching this and oh my word it didn't disappoint. Service fantastic, food amazing. Will definitely be going back 10/10.
When you said you pick it up and wave it about like a light saber in the bedroom...!! 🤣😅😂
Dont know why I am watching a British guy eat his takeaway's while I should study for my chemistry test.....life is full of wonders huh.
Newcastle is absolutely smashing it 👏
That looks amazing!.. it's good to see a restaurant breaking away from the usual tradition and putting their own spin on it. I love Indian food. I'm off to Newcastle " wey aye man"
Te seaside is in south shields at the bottom of ocean road - Ocean road is in the Guinness World Records for the most curry restaurants in on road.
You are literally compiling my bucket list. Somebody give this guy a TV show, food around the world.
@26:16 - never go on first impressions - totally agree - some of the best food I've eaten is from the grottiest looking restaurants.
I remeber been at uni in Newcastle .. What a brilliant city.. wonderful friendly people
its changed now .. .- multi culturalism saw to that . . . .
God bless you Danny
you are living rent free in my head...every time i hear a siren i think...won't be long luv and i say eh up about ten times a day and i'm a southerner.
Al be getting me cell down to chilli road the morra to try that exact bait, went to daveys breakfast place the day to try them sarnys u got for breaky and they were mint !!!
Yous need to try the Tikka Masala Cheesy Chips. Cracking shop ran by local lads just putting there heart and soul into feeding local people.
Makes me laugh how he calls it nam bread instead of naan 😆 either way, i love a garlic one myself to soak up all the curry 😋
Credit to you Danny for putting all these gems on the map. Your a star..
If you're still in the North East, you gotta head to Middlesbrough and grab a Parmo!
If not, there's a place called Manjaros that's also in Leeds that do good ones as well!
Woah oh oh we go manjaros
UTB.
There's manjaros in Newcastle
What a lovely polite and knowledgeable chap working there.
👍🏽
Lovely guy serving the food👍
This vid is worth commenting on, if only for the way the fella behind the counter served and treated you. Of course the food was great too. Thanks.
Come back to Chillingham Road and give Patties Burger Joint a go unreal highly recommend the place 👍🏻
Customer service here was quality
Fantastic front of house staff
Danny needs to tour the US. We'd love to have here.
Nice man in shop, that’s customer service 👍🏻
I love how the local lad was straight out of Glasgow
every once in a while you kinda stumble upon this dudes on youtube who could perfectly be a South Park character. Not a caricature of the dude, but the dude himself, you know?? 626,781 of us have actually watched either the whole thing or parts of it though... good times
Like a light sabre in't bedroom 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🐕👍
That looked too delicious! Cracking place.
The worker sounded really nice and genuine👍🏼
