Meet The Teens Being Groomed As The Future Of Cyber Security | TODAY
Yo change the video title please😦
I’m gonna need this in case the guy on Xbox live calls me a bad name
We really aren't that's smart these are just simulators
Silver works.
Hilarious how the NBC crew calls them so impressive and helpful when they have absolutely no clue what they are actually doing lol.
Cyber patriot is literally just Sys Admin class. hackerhighschool.org is where you learn the good stuff. (and its free, cyber patriot so far from free)
We really don't
ikr i did this in high school it's not that special anyone that can move a mouse and type into a terminal can do it, its so intro level lol
Well it's not about the skill of participants. It's about generating interest in cybersec the way the moon landings generated interest in space. The only skill they care about is in the ones who win, who get to go to a conference etc.
"No such file or directory", and that is how I knew, I was witnessing professionals at work. It truly takes a high level of skill to not understand how relative paths work in a filesystem. Geniuses! I now know that the future of cybersecurity is in good hands.
Keyword being groomed here lol
What are you talking about?
The US has lead the world in innovation at all levels because it enables business to full programs like this. It's one of the geniuses of free enterprise. Think of it; take smart curious kids and teach them cyber security in a competition. They kids strengthen their skills with successive years of competition and practice which leads them into the cyber security fiend in college. Kid graduates and is recruited by government, military and industry.
As a retired Army Officer and school administrator, I love this program. It's perfect for teaching kids a very needed skill along with team building, leadership and other ancillary skills.
I started this week trying to set up a camp for my school this summer!
On the Cyber Patriot website, half of the title is cut off in the embed...
Bruh it showed one of the kids just sitting down doing nothing cuz he hadn't started 😐
Shame you can't run Cyberpatriot on the cloud. We have tons of teachers (especially smaller/rural schools with no VM capable PCs) who want to participate in Cyber Patriot but who can't on their underpowered PCs and Chromebooks.
bruh.
