8:20 "We are in Interesting Times".
Robert Kennedy. In a speech in Cape Town in June 1966, said:
"There is a Chinese curse that says 'May he live in interesting times.'
Like it or not we live in interesting times.
They are times of danger and uncertainty, but they are also more open to the creative energy of men than any other time in history."
Suzy, you are a sweet, lovely, sensitive and smart young person and yes, The Introverted Thinker you are correct.
    We are in Interesting Times.
I wish I could help with the overthinking and over-worrying about other people and their perspectives
or how they "feel" about us. I have yet to fully learn that lesson, myself.
Time has taught me that for most people, "Out of Sight is Out of Mind" applies to most people and so, other people neither focus much on us when we are not around them or remember what social Oof we made and we simply can not
control how other people regard us.
What should matter most to us is how we perceive ourselves. Are we the Hero in our own movie?
And I quite enjoyed your comments on Jack Oliver Aaron's debate earlier this evening.
I wouldn't worry too much about how other people perceive you, Suzy. You are quite "Likeable".

I think it's natural for people to wonder how people see them, regardless of type. And I wouldn't worry too much about thinking of it or fixating on it even a little. I do that often times in social situations.
I agree with you. I dont think that the release of private information should be a weapon. Therefore, I also believe that people who play such cards are stooping really low. It is behavior not worthy of respect.
I think that people are always going to be shitty, for lack of a better word. Everyone wants to peep into the drama and eat popcorn. There's nothing we can do about it.

If nothing else, people could become more source critical.

4:40 ; YES, I have also experienced this, experienced lies being spread about me, lots of misunderstandings, etc.
(mostly due to any association with CSJ/TWFP) ; so I just try to find the good ppl in typology, people who genuinely
understand things on a deeper level, & aren't hyper critical or close minded.

I think it’s a natural instinct to worry about how we are perceived. We know we judge others and therefore expect to be judged. Simple really. On the note of the personal content, that’s pretty messed up and makes someone like myself very fearful of getting more involved in the UA-cam community as a whole. I think IN types specifically fear social judgement when we are in high school and it’s a breath of fresh air when we become adults and do not have to engage in these types of social drama bs. It seems UA-cam is this HS bs drama all over again. However the difference is on UA-cam it’s permanent. That’s the really scary part. My INTP husband does not participate in social media whatsoever for this reason. I agree that it becoming socially acceptable is very scary and my Ni worries about a time where everyone is smack talking about each other on these platforms and it starts to affect career aspirations and the like. One strategy might be for this person you speak of to send a cease and desist letter to said UA-cam personality, requesting removal of the video.

i 100% agree. People can do whatever they want, with things people have themselves published. But when what happens off camera gets taken to the big scene for all to see. Thats serious.

No, not specifically IN... types. There are different definitions of extroversion vs. introversion, but the Jungian definition is about how you define yourself and basically this means it doesn't affect your self-esteem what other people say about you if you are really introverted. Nobody save autists ignoring totally what other people think about them, but basically this is the definition I adhere to. There is also the question of openness, what you are able to share at all. It is surely not okay to share information which is given privately and labeled as private information, but unless specific information is addressed to exactly the specific people whose opinion has an impact on the real life of the person, the harm is bearable. A shitstorm by people I don't even know and can safely ignore? Doesn't really matter, but by this definition I am much on the introverted side, even if I am working in sales and can talk and be around people a lot more than other Introverts. I have some really private information but there is only one person I share these with and where I can be absolutely sure it won't be ever leaked.

It's a difficult situation. The thing is, if you are going to socialise, then there will always be a danger of that socialisation coming back to bite you. Especially as often a requirement of making friends is sharing personal information.
I understand there are varying levels here, but I disagree with how much of a boogyman this can be made out to be.
I think scare stories bolster preconceived thoughts of those who are socially shy or anxious.
Even worse, I think it can cause finger pointing and suspicion toward more extroverted types, even if they are completely innocent and would never even think of 'weaponizing information'.
As an ENFP, I've been on the short end of this quite a few times.
Being treated with suspicion and even derision for just trying to get to know someone is not my idea of healthy social interaction ;)
I'm not shitting on what you're saying here, I completely agree. (Especially having a good idea of the context)
But what I'm saying is; just remember that there are good guys and bad guys out there.
You're not always going to know who is what, but that's just how socialising works.
Chances need to be taken. Friends found and lessons learned.
    Good vid, Su.

Yes, talking about yourself is one thing. And there is allways risk. And the things i have in mind are kinda beyond just people gossiping. And the things said arent necessarily entirely accurate either, in a negative way.

Personally, we now can all find each other...it's comforting and not 💜 if I asked people what they thought, they'd be polite. How they treat or don't engage is the dictator. 💓
