I once saw her driving out of a christmas tree lot alone with a tree tied to the roof of her car and she had the biggest smile on her face.
I think it's true that the funniest people have gone through the hardest times. We need humor to get through life.
I met Molly at a Spa where I worked. She was talkative and genuine. She has a joyful personality and made my day special.
“I felt like I was meeting you for the first time” Aw, Drew always gives such genuine, sweet compliments. ❤️
Molly Shannon is a bloody legend. Comedy or Drama, she is brilliant. And what a great human being! I can't wait to read her book!
My father was killed in a plane crash when I was six. I totally understand. Unless you’ve gone through something like that, you can’t imagine how devastating and how lonely you feel. And I was so scared the whole rest of the time I was growing up that something would happen to my mom and I’d be an orphan. I’m 76 years old now, I had a good rest of my life, but there’s just some part of it that you never get over.
Molly Shannon is the kindest celebrity I have ever met. I knew where she would be and I was waiting to meet her and request an autograph and you would’ve thought she was my fan. I’ll never forget her kindness and grace. She is an exceptional woman who makes you feel special just to be in her presence.
She probably developed her super funny personality to deal with all of that even maybe hide her sadness or to try to make her dad happy. She looks happy all the time. She so funny and we can see she is a genuine good person.
Molly is pure joy.
I met her when she came into the little store I worked at out at the local airport here in Savannah, Ga. She was so extraordinarily sweet and just so funny, and 100 times more beautiful in person! I love this lady! I had no idea about this terrible tragedy in her past.
I am so deeply sorry for what Molly has gone through. I don’t know how, but she has managed to come out the other side and bring so much happiness and laughter to SO many people! I thank her for that! She is a ball of sunshine!!! ☀️☀️☀️
Molly Shannon's "Valerie Bassett" character on "Will and Grace" is one of that show's unforgettable highlights. Molly epitomizes the French expression "Joie de vivre."
Omg that must be the hardest thing to experience ever 😢😢 I wish her all the best ❤️❤️
I love Molly. Unbelievable the tragedies she went through.
Molly Shannon has always been a figure I looked up to. Being the goofy, weird girl I connected to her and her characters SO much. I had no idea she lost family in a car accident. My sister was tragically taken in a car accident 7 years ago. Her death has had such a profound affect on my life not only with grief, but self discovery. Upon losing her I lost everything I thought I knew and needed and found everything I've need to be and found the rive to strive to always be better and good. To look out for myself and for others. To draw from other's knowledge and to stand in my power and my truth. Drew, you may not read this, but damn your show, your impact and your legacy sets you apart from so many but connects you to SO many more!! THANK YOU xoxo
My Dad lost his father and brother in a plane crash when he was 12 and his mom remarried into a blended family of 8 (family of 4 kids to 8 kids) he lives the hardest of anyone I've ever met. Through great loss and trauma there is a gift of fearlessness.
Absolutely love Molly Shannon. She is a brilliant performer, and her soul just radiates joy! Will definitely enjoy reading her book.
I feel like they should be sitting in the same chair. Such an intimate story to share. You can feel Drew’s heartache.
I absolutely adore Molly. Such an inspiration and such an incredible person. So genuine. I wish I could just spend a day talking to her.
“I like to kick! Stretch aaaaand KICK!”Lol she is the best and seems like such a great person too.
