I was a time crunch by the time I got around to recording this one. Also the game kept restoring my hotkeys to default (I play with qert not 1-5) so it made it EXTREMELY difficult to talk and kill the boss at the same time. Due to these 2 reasons my flame explanation wasn't as I wished it to be. I intend to play some mage on the china servers so I can update the spreadsheet to the latest build & information. Please please please be sure to check spreadsheet as it updates :) note: despite my brain lag the specs are actually called flame and frost haha note 2: I forgot to add spreadsheet. I fixed it
Hi thanks for the mage video but I'd like to know if you've made another video for the talent choices for the fire mage. Thank you for your great guide 😊
Oh. I forgot to link the mega spreadsheet on older videos.. Videos will have new spreadsheet in next 24 hrs. There's a to do list on it. Fire talents are on my to do list
I'm not sure survivability is what matters in pve as its the healers job to take care of that. If you're looking for a class that has a lot of movement mage and ranger do indeed work. Keep in mind the fire build requires level 40 and it's much more difficult to use than ice build. You must go pet build if you decide ranger, the other build lacks movement.
Started the game and tried to do fire speck. It made me do frost spec. So thinking I did something wrong I made a new character and chose flame, yet once again it made me do frost..... is there a way to switch them?
I saw that when I press K in game there is a flame there on the left under frost and it says its locked until completing main quest so I guess we can't use fire until then
Basic stuff is in spreadsheet. I actually got 2 build information a few hours ago from an active lv 40 player. I just need to confirm it and pages will get updated
hi bro sorry my bad english but i dont understand , pvp is fire and pve is ice ? i need build for pve and dungeons i have 5 friends they can play tarisland and i wanna go mage pve for dps in dungs. i can go for fire build for pve? or is better ice thanks foe the video and sry my bad english jjsjs i suscribe 😅 good luck !
I play both in PVE. Right now it seems like fire = pve and ice = pvp. It still needs more testing so this isn't final results. Fire needs build up time so its easier on PVE Ice has huge burst so it kills people very fast in PVP
Each class guide has talent tree information in the spreadsheet that is in the description. I do this so I can update it and keep it fresh. if I showed them on the actual video they'd be out of date already. In fact most have already changed and are now being updated to information provided by those actively level 40 (today) on global. I know it's different but i do this to provide fresher updates without needed to create a different class guide per month. Check the spreadsheet in the description.
I can see why you'd say that but I'm not exactly sure I'd agree. Stacking full water to do an ice burst in pvp is insane damage but I'm not ready to pull it out of pve yet. We'll know more as we spend more time at lv 40
All the talent information is in the spreadsheet below the video. Its like this so I can update them. I am currently updating them at this very moment.
I am currently reworking the unreleased healer and tank classes to bring them up to the quality guide I expect from my self. Those classes are paladin, necro, priest, bard & berserker so character guides have been pushed back a bit. The wait will be worth it!
A lot of reasons. Mainly time & motivation. I spent 124 hours (game records it) just in game for china in the first week doing class stuff/raids etc Motivation - I hate dummy videos. They're so boring to create. I tried to do a mix of more fun to create/watch and put more info into spreadsheet but I made some mistakes. I had the best intentions in mind like updating spreadsheets after launch to keep info updated but I under estimated both how much time was involved & I under estimated how difficult it was to pve & accurately explain a class. In some of the videos it was extremely hard. The fire mage is the biggest offender. While not explaining it I can obviously do much better. Once I committed to a few videos on bosses I felt committed and had to continue that style. A lot of lessons learned for future content. The best I can do at this point and merge spreadsheets together and keep updating info as I play and do best for the next class series.
@@VarietyMMOs not sure if I asked that wrong or you mistook what I meant. I was just wondering why not attack the target dummies when showing dps. I didn't mean it any other way. Sorry.

Hello! Would it be possible to get the updated spreadsheet of the mage build?
It's the on the ever expanding to do list..Can't really get a time line atm
@@VarietyMMOssad, we really need it

@@VarietyMMOs Thanks 🙂
It lack of casting / channeling powerfull fire or frost bolt spells in my opinion
What would you say is the best class for PVE survivability? Thinking Hunter or Fire mage? Whats your thoughrs?
I'm not sure survivability is what matters in pve as its the healers job to take care of that.

can you do a video explaining the differences between the healers? going over pros and cons and what sets them apart from each other :)
Hmm I can yeah. I will not put it in video form though. I'll put it on the mega spreadsheet I'll be releasing before global launchs
Started the game and tried to do fire speck. It made me do frost spec. So thinking I did something wrong I made a new character and chose flame, yet once again it made me do frost..... is there a way to switch them?

fire is locked until you progress through the main story and achieve level 16
Thanks for the guide! Would you say frost or fire is more mobile, or about the same?
I'd say similar. I think ice build is a bit more forgiving because you the flame build requires you to combo better to get bomb counter up
and what is about the skills?

Why is in the most guides no Skilltree , this is the most important for me

barbarian and pally are coming? to ur guides?
Yeah. Bararian is being worked on slowly
the paladin is my main class and will be done at max level (40)
Thanks for the guide! So basically Ice mage ideally for pvp and Fire mage for pve, that's what it looks like. Blessings from Panama!

Skill 6 is broken, it summons no tornado at all.
Great guide! Does fire mage also use shield and blinking ability?
In the spreadsheet below the video there is an ultimate tab with 10s videos showing the ultimates. In this case the fire mage can blink and shield yes
@@VarietyMMOs thanks a lot!
You forgot to show the talent tree.
All the talent information is in the spreadsheet below the video. Its like this so I can update them. I am currently updating them at this very moment.
can u also make shadow swordsman
All the classes will be done. I'm currently on chinese server updating information for the classes before I continue uploading
@@VarietyMMOs thanks man! I will wait for that
where fire mage talent?
Forgot. Sorry. I'll be done in next 24 hrs
Tar-island doesn't sound right to me I've always pronounced it like terrisland
Haha the way I'm saying it taris-land, at least that's what I'm intending. I could be totally wrong 😊
Shout out to all the support classes
Nice guide, I’m waiting for necro 🙂
