Do you think the new HLS renders are legit? Let us know below!
Not really as SpaceX doesn't like deployable solar panels.
Probably not. Or at most a non-realistic concept from Spacex. Could be one of the reasons why it was leaked.
No...
The solar looks ridiculous...
Landing feet look a little small too
I doubt the windows will be square, and I expect a few more of them.....
Not at all that's some janky work sue Origin would dream up and never deliver
IDK
This guy’s voice is so soothing
Lol 🤣
You should learn a thing or two from his video formats.
😂
I like his content & his annunciation but his voice is nasal af ..he needs a good microphone
What?💀
I really appreciate your more nuanced coverage of the Fish and Wildlife investigation.
Pointing out how it is indeed annoying that it's slowing down the launch but also describing the department's role and subsequently how a dedicated organization could speed these things up! Most SpaceX channels have just been dogging on the F&W without any nuance.
Yes, contaminants from the exhaust could contaminate the local water during a launch....
But the same would occur during a static fire with water deluge, which is something SpaceX could do twice a day if they felt vindictive about it.
So, stopping launches due to water contamination seems a bit pointless!
FYI - RB-57 was only based on the B-57 bomber. It is actually a heavily modified version with a much greater wingspan that was used as a reconnaissance aircraft contemporary with the U-2 Spyplane. It has a ceiling above 60,000 feet and numerous sensors, making it an ideal aircraft for NASA to acquire after it left the USAF inventory. NASA is also one of the few agencies that fly the U-2.
Tractor beams can augment gravity tractors.
You don't use them for something you want quickly.
You send them to orbit something really big and really expensive and put it in a convenient spot for you sometime in the future.
Then you sell futures stock on it. Something something blockchain something something profit.
@4:10 yikes, you bet, concur ! The most famous mini-van on the interwebs 🤣
I've never seen a picture of the WB-57 in modern configuration, how cool! These are English Electric Canberras that have gone through the full ship of Thesus treatment, are all (NASA has the last 3 airworthy ones) Vietnam Veterans from a bunch of very interesting and secretive missions along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Many were converted to run on H2 instead of regular JP-4/7/8 to improve their performance as they were one of the only aircraft that could accommodate the cryogenic fuel tank. My next door neighbor was flying one and brought down by a 37mm NVA autocannon and spent 4 years as a POW-- it's a fascinating and extremely rare aircraft. Glad to see they are still in their prime.
FWS needsto approve now 5:42
I really appreciate this No-nonsense, straight-to-the-point presentation.
You said it again. Star Ship did not explode. I was deliberately destroyed!!!!!
I genuinely get happy when i se a new space race vid and i makes my evening every time 🙂
nice
Fish and Wildlife agents seen pissing into the rocket exhaust just to be sure.
Thanks for these well researched videos. My only small gripe is I don't think you need all the short stock video clips. The relevant clips are all you need.
@@graywilde5498it’s kind constructive criticism. Don’t be a dick when someone is nicely offering advice for something that may improve the content. Creators need feedback to grow their channels
spacex could put one of the tractor beams on every starlink satellite and when they are ready to be decommissioned they take a piece down with them.
My question is, if you do manage to attract a piece of space debris with a tractor beam, what do you do with it then? Wouldn't you need something like a grappling arm anyway, matching the objects rotation, holding onto it and de-orbit it? And if that's the case, isn't it just easier to skip the beam altogether and just use the arms?
Can’t deny that spaceX really is changing our perspective, on what humans are capable of!
You for got about the power needed for the tractor beam. What i have read it need a crap ton of power.
hmmm...Don't think you should comment on the renderings if you can't prove their validity. But it was nice seeing something different tho 😂
Orbital cleanup should be our #1 priority in space right now, and de-orbiting functions should be mandatory for every satellite from now on.
Those HLS image's look awesome regardless!
Maybe one of a concept few iterations? Less parts are better. Solar seems a bit complicated
Awesome
We need to "for all mankind" this stuff.
Re the tractor beam, wouldn't it be far easier and cheaper to use energy beams to "push" objects as desired vs trying to "pull" them?
There's no way Elon could resist tweeting about it if the launch was just three days away.
Is that among us with a huge ding dong behind the ship??
The deployable solar panels are definitely a no go
They’ll only be getting sun from one side anyways on the moon so it has to be able to function with only one side lit up and therefore it might as well have surface mounted solar like dragon.
Perhaps they deemed it too difficult to mount solar on the surface of starship but this seems like bad design.
One of the ways we can make a tractor beam is using whats called optical tweezers
The scale up means we're gonna need a lot bigger battery for that idea
No more of that ‘glitch’ transition please 🫨
Starship: Too much gubmint, not enough Merica.
🚀
Hi
What hydraulic oil are you talking about? The new booster doesn't use hydraulics... They're using an all new electric TVC system.
How you people so fast??
Your videos are awesome, but what’s up with the video/photo transition? more specifically the transition that looks like it’s glitching out? Was giving me the biggest headache.
Space trash clean up sounds like just a future weapon to take out enemy satellites in the future.
This Is The USS Starship Enterprise Over
“Tractor Beam”
Esto de las "variantes" es como hablar del sexo de los angeles
Hmmm, still waiting on those trips to mars…
In the immortal words of the onceler, “Who cares if a few things are dying?” (so long as starship is flying)
The canberra lives!
for real “trust me bro”
"Nov 3rd to 7th"? Did you perhaps mean to say, "Dec 3rd to 7th" instead maybe?
Why is the elevator so high.. it makes more sense on the bottom floor qnd not the nosecone like in other renders.. I dont think this is how its gonna look
❤👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
No, not legit...
You need citations and a second source my friend! I hate to see your excellent channel go down the path of unsubstantiated drawings by people who say "trust me".
Not Good.
If true, with that render I guess we'll need a seperate launch for solar arrays or just wrap Starship in its own fairing.
Thesae videos make me squee and XD
Tractor beam coming out of the deflector dish? That one is a fake for sure… 🙃
Weaker gravity on the moon allows lighter construction. Will the moon rocket need extra engines for earth's atmosphere?
The HLS is Moon only. It will not be returning t Earth.
.👍👍👍👍.
Not meaning to be pedantic, but they are renderings, not renders. I have been doing computer renderings for over 30 years and it has only been in the last 5 years that mostly young people call a single rendering a render. Hand renderings in, at the very least the architectural world, have been around for much longer and have always been reffered to as renderings, not renders. Rendering is both a verb and a noun, render is only a verb so you render a rendering. It is the same as paintings, artists paint paintings, they don't paint paints. Other than that, the video was good.
so basically speculation
I commented asking if the leaks were real in david willis's newest video. he said yes. i asked why should i trust him, and my comment was deleted :/
I would think NASA would gladly chip in for cleanup. They would also have a specific need to recapture classified tech on the QT.
You say every week "We have 2 more for you right now" but 90% of the time you only have 1...
That lander is idiotic. Try landing one on rocky terrain on earth first.
1st
Wooo early comment
There's no point to going to space, defund NASA, and let Elon waste all his money.
The single dumbest lander ever. How many launches to fuel it up elon?
New HLS Starship looks stupid. Fake leak, 100%.
Wish people would stop showing fan boy renders of spacex and Tesla, its just a waste of information.
It's the truth I got pictures of pyramids on the moon all kinds of stuff satellite dishes that are almost 3 mi wide and spaceships and there is a landing platform on the moon I've got pictures of it
What a 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Nice Photoshop pics?
Again some old News You seem to be a week behind
We upload news updates once a week so this does occasionally happen. Appreciate your feedback though.
You're a douche. one whole week! Omg that's like 100 years ago. That's you, that's what you sound like.
The news on the tractor beam is fascinating and will be good to hear of progress. Thanks for the update.
the sooner star ship is in orbit the better other wise it just seems like a scam eon must be fed up with all the delays he should of moved it to the uk we dont have earthquakes or tornadoes maybe a few floods and high winds
Way too far from the equator and UK’s government bureaucracies are worse than US’s.
And an idiotic government!
Wait ... so do we!
Tractor beam😅😅😅😅them dopey alieans have been pretty generous with all this free tech stuff they ve been giving to all us dopey humans,,,god bless them alieans tiny tim😅😅😅😅😅😅😎 😎 😎
