Dan actually knew who Lucas was even though he wasn’t in his life as Lucas didn’t know Dan was his father till he found out from when he and Nathan were on little leagues together
I don’t feel bad for Lucas at all. He knew what a horrible person Dan was from the beginning, and yet he still came back to Tree Hill after moving to Charlotte with Keith, and even guilted Keith to come back with him. They both should have stayed in Charlotte.
I mean, he's a teen with a good heart. I know how it feels to have parents similar to him and the obligations or guilt you sometimes feel for them. That's how I feel about my parents after my dad has his stroke almost 10 years ago (he's alright now.) Just you know that fear that they both might die I guess. I don't think my parents are actual narcissists but they are/were abusive. I guess I just want something that I don't think will ever happen but am denial about it. Also, I spent about 23 years of my life thinking it was normal.
