Even though I wasn't the athletic type in my teen years, I still would've love to have someone like Whitey in my life, because of the life lessons he taught

I had an art teacher like Whitey. Everyone called her mom because that’s basically who she was to pretty much the whole school. No one dared go against anything she said or did, her “superiors” included. She’s still teaching there, she’s been teaching there since the 80s so she’s taught a lot of the now parents whose kids have her. She’s tough and a bit of a hard ass sometimes but also one of the most caring and down to earth people I ever met. Having her as my teacher was honestly one of the best parts of my entire high school experience.

Where he tells Lucas that Keith was his dad always makes me cry.

This scene reminds me of the Mighty Ducks. I just love coach to team player moments.

Lucas had the hardest reality. Trying to deal with Nathan's ego and Peytons love while trying to balance being a lover who's brother was a professional athlete.

The entire energy of the show lived and died with Lucas.

Lucas was a great character for a highschool kid on the fringe like me. Very confident in his abilities and would do the right thing when nobody was looking while having a good time.

Whitey kept everyone together. He knew Lucas was a writer but needed him to win 😂

The irony of Lucas saying “I just want Keith back”, contrary to the actual story.
Chad Michael Murray didn’t get on with Craig Sheffer at all, that’s part of the reason why the latter was written off early by the scriptwriters even though they said they wanted to keep him throughout.
