Thanks Lance always a pleasure to watch you catch a fish or more.
Nice fish, the by catch ( perch and Rockies) would make a great lunch👍🙂
Nice video as always. Black maribou hair jig. No heavier than 1/8. That is killer in that situation. Just a slow retrieve. Drop it in a bed and it's pretty much a guarantee bite.
Awesome fish!
Enjoyed and learned from your video as I've come to expect. We used to net smelt around Ashland, I've never fished the bay, yes im jealous LOL. Thank you for creating and sharing this content. TIGHT LINES ALL
Must of just missed you Lance. Fished up there week prior to memorial day. I’ll add a plug for the Americinn if anyone is looking for accommodations.
It's crazy because most of my life that bay was mostly referred in the circles I grew up around in as a Pike / Trout bay sometimes Perch... It's interesting how all of the Great Lakes are actually great Smallmouth fisheries!
If you don't mind me asking whats your connection to that lake superior area? I use to be able to go up the Huron Bay/L"Anse area up in the UP and I have to say I was amazed at how clear the water is just beautiful.
Rockbass yeah when u find them that means its a good spot always for smallies.
New water is always exciting and challenging and it’s fun to hit what we call the big lake. Great video as usual, learned a lot.
Love those smallies that place looks cool.
Ever use an X-rap in those shallow water situations?..
