I used this song for a game I made one scratch when I was in 8th grade. I'm a senior in high school now, just revisited the game, and the music still goes hard. Bravo to the creator of this 🤝
I just got really fucking stoned and I've heard this song so many times before and to me its always been a masterpiece. This time felt so unique and right before i start typing and searching it up im welling up with such deep emotions, i started welling up in tears, its perfection obtained. As it plays you realize this cannot be surpassed, it shouldn't be forgotten in time, it truly is a specimen all its own, of incredible heights does it achieve, and its pure awe moves my soul.
By the way, the title of the music is Zizibum by Łukasz Sychowicz, whose username is 1ucasvb, made with Atari SAP. The link is broken too, here's the original: ua-cam.com/video/iYS66ZWrxWg/v-deo.html God bless. ^^
Yes, we like accurate representations of audio that aren't heavily compressed. Also yes, while the video quality shouldn't affect the audio quality, youtube will also compress and degrade the audio further along with the video.
Technically, these sounds are just going to be simpler sound waves like sine waves. So making it not HD just kind of detracts from the point, because opting for a lower quality bitrate would sort of "smooth out the edges" and you wouldn't get the true crispness that you would from playing it in its original form on an old console like an NES or something. Unless you mean you want to listen to it like it's truly from a Gameboy and simulate a lo-fi speaker

Well the NES's sound card was far more limited. This song would not play on an NES because it has too many notes playing at once. You can't have a bass-line and rhythm when you have barely enough power to play a single chord at a time.
I just checked the ocilliscope, this song is actually imitation 8 bit. The wave forms were a bit shakey at the top, something an 8 bit machine can't do. It could just be an audio error made by copying over the old file, but maybe not. Btw, this would be much better as a Commodore SID song. Commodore > Atari

Was expecting this video to be a crappy GXSCC tune. I'm glad it isn't. :D
The most awesome will always be Stickerbush symphony, david wise is a legend. Although i cant remember if it is 8 bit, i think not.
Totally agree with you. Best videogame soundtrack ever. It's 16-bit.
yooo 100%, that track as well as bayou boogie :)
That track is mediocre. It would have gained when switching to either higher resolution, or making it 8 bit. 16 bit tracks generally suck
Almost crying for this awesome 8bit
Dude, i was looking for this song like crazy, thanks for rescuing it.
I was sleeping my kids to this music 12 years ago, still love it :)
used this as a boss battle theme in D&D and Pathfinder so many times. absolutly love it
