Nice seeing her come out of the fog. Good radio chatter as well and a really deep horn. Thanks Paul
Thanks! One of my favorite ships!
Nice shot of her coming through the fog
The John G Munson appeared out of the fog like the legend she is...⚓
😁 I do like it a little more on the foggy side....I'll take about anything I get though!
I'm always talking about how graceful these lakers are as they slip through the canal, under the Aerial Bridge and out into the harbor. Boy, the Munson out did it as she came out of the fog and into the canal! And then the horn salute appeard to garner a bit of canine competition. Another one of your great videos of action at Duluth.
Those dogs talking back to the ship...
Wow, what a set of lungs she has. Awesome. Thanks Paul.
You're very welcome!
What an amazing sound. I have an image of a Norseman blowing an impossibly large horn, on a hill side above a fjord, calling the men to the longboats. Well, there’s more than one connection…
I like it!
Another 1950's boat. Still running strong and well maintained. Not beat to crap like Hoyt II.
True.
That was amazing,bro.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice post brother thanks
Thanks for watching!

What would you say visibility was - a mile or two? Always hard for me to tell on videos...
Fog was lifting, my guess was 1 mile max.
That horn needs help. Could hardly tell when a blast stopped and started again.
I, also agree with your comment about the horn on the John G Munson. That horn sounds sick, and needs help. 6:20
Lot of echo happening on this salute
