    ► Hair Color:
This a custom color job, created by a stylist at a salon, using a professional system not available in beauty supply stores and which requires a valid cosmetology license to purchase--no I do not know the name. It cannot be recreated precisely and the shade looks different on me every time she touches it up since she blends it up on the spot and it changes shades every time I wash my hair.
Bleach was not used. We have been lifting my hair lighter and lighter over time using developer (which is not bleach) since October of 2015. I will not post a video on how to color because I am not a licensed cosmetologist and I will not give directions on how to use chemicals that I do not have a good understanding of. If you'd like help with achieving this color, please consult a LICENSED professional who specializes in natural hair because coloring will alter your hair and can damage depending on your texture and the process.

Quindara Monique, WATER! WATER! Drinking a lot of water will make your hair grow without any products. I use only two products to keep my hair and scalp moisturized, that's it, I have very dry hair and scalp and if I don't use an oil on my scalp, it will itch. If you have an issue with dry hair, find that one product that works for you and stops, don't keep buying other products to add to it. Drink a lot of water or increase your intake and watch the results.

Yes everyone is different my hair got stuck listening to natural say don't use grease Chile my hair just gave up until I went back to grease because I'm old and my hair is conditioned to how we did hair then. So just be mindful of what was used at all times to help with growth. This young lady is very informative and the not focusing on others hair aka stressing will help relax you for hair growth because stress will break your hair off and out.

I agree with all of this! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I’d also add technique also plays a major part with overall results. I have fine hair and it’s harder to achieve the big full looks. I wish I had, but I’m happy with what I have. I had to stop deep conditioning for a while too. I also learned to follow the package instructions for the best results. I also use heat to deep condition due to my porosity. The heat also cuts down the time I spend doing my hair. Carols Daughter did nothing for my hair. I only liked the badge controls products she has. I’ve found the lower end products work better and I don’t use a ton of products. I stick with what works.

I’m a hairstylist and I know for sure white women are product junkies too. Everyone is trying to get their hair to do something it doesn’t naturally do whether that’s volumizing, smoothing, or even blow drying faster. White women also have problems with length retention. Everyone thinks being white is an automatic pass to get long hair but like you said that’s genetic. I have clients who struggle to get their hair past armpit length. I think sometimes people think women are completely different because of race but this is a huge misconception.

Thankssss, if I change it’ll be growth annnnd I’m also about all three of those too! BUT I’m able to be selective and work with brands I love because they appreciate how straightforward I am and when I give them constructive feedback in private when I refuse to promote... The problem is a lot of influencers don’t realize you can be yourself and collect them all, they feel you have to be a certain way OR (I’m finding out as meet some of these youtubers in person) they dont know themselves and aren’t confident in themselves-more so the latter in my opinion and social media isn’t helping them on their journey towards self discovery!

I really like this! The moral of the story is, we're all so extremely different. My 4c is not your 4c. I used to preach this to my makeup clients as well. My nc47 complexion is not your nc47 complexion. You have to find your own personal combination of products that works for you!....and once you get older or move to a new environment, get ready to find a new combination LOL!

Great video! The information you shared is what many of us naturals need to hear. Having natural hair is not a one-stop-shop. I follow so many natural hair gurus and at the beginning of my natural hair journey, I had to learn that just because one thing worked them doesn't mean it will work for me. So many of the points you made, it wasn't until I stopped doing many of these things like slopping a million products on my hair that I saw a true difference in my hair.
