    ► Hair Color:
This a custom color job, created by a stylist at a salon, using a professional system not available in beauty supply stores and which requires a valid cosmetology license to purchase--no I do not know the name. It cannot be recreated precisely and the shade looks different on me every time she touches it up since she blends it up on the spot and it changes shades every time I wash my hair.
Bleach was not used. We have been lifting my hair lighter and lighter over time using developer (which is not bleach) since October of 2015. I will not post a video on how to color because I am not a licensed cosmetologist and I will not give directions on how to use chemicals that I do not have a good understanding of. If you'd like help with achieving this color, please consult a LICENSED professional who specializes in natural hair because coloring will alter your hair and can damage depending on your texture and the process.

Vitamin D deficiency has proven to be a factor in fibroid growth in black women. That's the only bit of research that has shown major results in shrinking and preventing fibroids from increasing Vitamin D3. Thank you for sharing your experience!! 😊 ❤

I really don’t know why this vitamin D thing keeps coming up because people who live in hot/sunny climates, like on the continent of Africa still get fibroids. And they get a lot of vitamin D. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I've been a follower of yours for years so about a year and half ago I noticed my stomach getting bigger and remembered your story so I went to my OB and she confirmed I had fibroids.
I'm currently two weeks post op today and I had a robotic laparoscopic myomectomy with five incisions, removed 9 fibroids.
Thank you for sharing your story cause it definitely helped me!

I had a UAE earlier this year and while the procedure was minimally invasive (they used wire to emobilize the fibroids through my groin), the pain of the tumors dying was intense because of the size of my fibroids. My surgeon advocated for me to have an overnight stay with a morphine drip, since immeditaly after the procedure is when the pain is excruciating. The worst of my pain was handled at the hospital and I was on extra strength Tylenol for the remaining week. My back pain disappeared, my period shortened from 5 heavy days in a 7 day cyle to 3 heavy days in a 7 day cycle and the change in energy was immediate. I highly recommend it for those who are afraid of the open myomectomy surgery. I was awake for the procedure but under twilight anesthesia. It was life-changing for me. I don't have any hardness in my abdomen anymore and I think they're all gone. I go back in October for an MRI to check on them but as expected, the tumors have shrunken to the point I am not impacted by them.

Thank you for Sharing your experience with UFE. I’m due for my UFE at end of March 2024. I’m looking forward to it as my stomach is really distended. I have multiple fibroids and now my largest is now measuring 6cm which is good as it was 8cm last year. I’m hoping and praying all goes well with no complications. I guess I can address everything in the pre procedure meeting on the 12th March. Wish me luck 😬

@@NovaDoll just had UFE 4 days ago and I’m glad I did. The shrinkage will be over time so I. The next 3-6 mths or 12 mths. It not immediate but I’d rather that then invasive surgery with long recovery and the likely hood the fibroids will grow back. Scare tissue was a no no for me so it was always going to be UFE. I’m in the no pain zone after day four and just discomfort. So hears to healing!!

I really appreciate this video! I just had surgery to remove 18 fibroids in all and am learning that many women experience this issue! Your videos have really helped me through this time. I have had fibroids for years and was told repeatedly by my nurse practitioner that she did not see a need to have them removed. Last year (2022), I asked for a referral to an OBGYN and she gave me one. The initial OBGYN did an ultrasound and referred me to another OBGYN because the ultrasound results were not clear and she only had experience with doing an open myomectomy. I scheduled my initial surgery with the second OBGYN, but that got canceled because she ended up resigning from that position. I managed to set up surgery with a third OBGYN. They estimated a total of 10 fibroids to remove from a previous MRI, but ended up removing a total of 18. I was also put on an iron supplement two months prior to surgery due to the heavy bleeding from fibroids causing me to become anemic. My surgery was on September 7, 2023 and I am currently at home recovering. My recovery is going well and I look forward to seeing how things go.

THANK YOU, thank you, thank you!! Your honesty in sharing your journey is so inspiring, as well as your continuous reminder not to judge those of us with fibroids and our choices to manage/rid ourselves of them. Every BODY is different, and there is still so much unknown. It’s important to share our stories, remedies, and changes that may help and then for each of us to make decisions for ourselves.
I’m a 53yo, peri-menopausal, white woman, and I suffered from massive fibroids for so long, I nearly died. That was completely avoidable, but there can be so much shame in it (and menstruation) in general, many of us ignore the symptoms so much longer than we have to. In my case, FAR too long!
I’m soooooo happy you had that thorough exam and found out when you did! Especially with your kidneys starting to be affected. For me, I didn’t use a GYN for years (I have an amazing one now!), and my symptoms were dismissed by a male Primary as “bad periods”, ie just deal with it-something my generation in general does-believe me, it isn’t heroic!
On Oct 10, 2022, after being weak and progressively sicker for several months but still pushing myself because of “work”, I collapsed. Because it was a holiday in MA, it was 22 hours later before my “work” called in a wellness check on Tues when I didn’t show up or respond to calls. By then, I was unresponsive, in kidney failure (fibroids pressing on them for so long), severely anemic from bleeding steadily for too long, septic, and in the last stage of hypothermia. Doctors later told me if it had taken one more hour, it would have been too late. In fact, they were shocked I’d made it as long as I did and started responding.
This is a cautionary tale only and one that ends with good health and joy!!! There is absolutely NO REASON fibroids should result in this!!! My situation was the result of many factors, mostly pushing myself, not putting myself first, and ignoring my body both out of some delusion of powering through cramps, etc, and DENIAL due to FEAR.
A year later and lots of recovery both mental and physical, I am well in mind and (mostly) in body-still some healing and watchfulness to do there.
I still have the fibroids, and my journey with that is different mostly because of my age as menopause seems to dry them up, and I wasn’t strong enough for surgery last year while recovering. I consider Oct 11 now my birthday in a way that is more meaningful than the day I was born because that’s the day I was rescued and eventually came back. That’s the day I started my journey of true wellness which includes knowledge, listening to my body, and PUTTING MYSELF FIRST!!
Again, thank you so much for sharing your story so openly, including the photos! We definitely need to talk about this more for so many reasons!!
PS: I totally get why you asked your GYN if you’d lose the belly after surgery!! I did too!! :) I miss my waist but am slowly getting it back. Plus, that weight is REAL and uncomfortable, causing lower back pain, etc.

Daye, I haven’t finished the video yet but I’d just like to thank u sooo much for ur openness & transparency. I saw ur first vids about ur Myomectomy journey & had this in my mind as I started dealing with my own unfortunate fibroid journey last yr. After a yr of every variation of hormone therapy (BC), my bleeding was out of control & I eventually opted for a hysterectomy. I just had my procedure on June 5th & I had no idea that my uterus weighed 8x’s it’s normal weight, & that I had more fibroids than they could count. I’m only 35 but It was the best decision I could’ve made for myself. Ur journey inspired me to be forthcoming with my own, & so many women have relayed their own experiences to me on dealing with the same thing. We absolutely must talk more about this & ur highlighting of this subject is very much appreciated 😌🙏🏾

Thank you for your update! Your first video encouraged me to actually do something about mine! I had about ten and eight of them were in my uterus and two were huge, so i had to have a hysterectomy...which i was totally more than okay with. Im currently a few weeks away from a year in recovery. I have a 6 or 8 in vertical scar, so it starts at the very top oc my navel to right in the top of my hips and its healed so well, that you can barely see it. I had to wear dresses for a few months because everything was so tender internally that pants were just suuuuper uncomfortable. But! I'm doing great, just trying to find and maintain a good weight. My uterus was 10lbs and i lost about 8 and been fluctuating between 8 and 10lbs, but i think i got it figured out now that i can do my yoga again 😅 it was and interesting year, but I'm so glad for my doctor, because she did her THANG!! And i so glad for my decision (didn’t want kids anyway so this was a blessing). But I'm also glad you're doing well, you inspired me to get up and actually DO something, thank you Daye! 🙌🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Thank you for keeping us posted on your journey, it’s much appreciated. For keloid scars keep on self massage and if you can find someone who does this then even better. I don’t naturally get keloid scars but have used self massage for any type of scaring. It’s the daily consistency that is key.

use Agbara Herbal Powder and OSAKIRISA HERBAL SEED to cure and shrunk your Fibroid.,Remember Fibroids are abnormal growths that develop in or on a woman's uterus.
Sometimes these tumors become quite large and cause severe abdominal
pain and heavy periods, pelvic pain, miscarriages. In other cases, they
cause no signs or symptoms at all. The growths are typically benign, or
noncancerous. But With Agbara Herbal Medication, This will Be completely
cured,,,,Remember surgery does not removed or cured Fibroid,

Daye thank you so much for having a real honest video! I found out about mine in 2019 with horrid pms nausea, vomiting, chronic fatigue, disorientation, loss of appetite and drop in blood count. The BCP didn't help. The cramping and clots were horrid. I live in the Caribbean with free health care for scans and meds. honestly stopped BC I found a fibroid tea on fb and August will make it a year it's helped a lot of my symptoms. Idk if it's shrinking my multiple growths but I saw the castor oil tiktok and now started. I've cut out milk and barely eat cheese, increased my water intake, I did notice during lent my cramps were less. I started back cardio 2x weekly and I'm wayyyy more functional than I was in 2019-2021! I'm avoiding surgery since my fibroids are inside, outside and in the lining of my womb with one at 9cm and four at 5cm.
I realized talking freely with women made me less embarrassed and I found out more info.

I had an open myomectomy in April had 12 removed just to find out last week 3 more grew to about 4 cm. I ended up having an hysteroscopic myomectomy yesterday. I'm changing my diet because I'm tired of dealing with this.

Hi...im considering UFE. What happened? Did it mess up your uterus? I had the MRI done alrefor the procedure but I'm on the fence between the UFE and myomectomy Myomectomy.

@@irishclark4193same here MRI done on Dec and consult with the Interventional Radiologist next Tuesday 16th Jan. I’m also in the fence with UFE as I wonder if it will cut of my blood supply to the rest of my uterus… ie just affect blood flow I. That area because those particles that are injected stay there. Plus I was told it can induce menopause which is why I’m hesitant as there’s no telling what it could or won’t do. I just want these fibroids out without surgery because I want to avoid more adhesions forming inside which I think I already have 😬

@@amiemartin7108 I have been using the queen of thrones brand of castor oil and their packs! I have been pretty consistently doing the packs every night when I sleep. I notice I sleep better and my digestion is WAY better. Not sure if it's causing the fibroids to break down but I will keep on it. Anecdotally, heard stories of lots of women getting relief with castor oil packs. BIgger fibroids can take months to shrink, apparently. I have seen a cyst in my breast disappear from castor oil, though! (In 2 nights!)

To add to this, I have the CHEK2 mutation, which increases my chances of getting cancer. Way higher than the average woman. Both of my parents had cancer. My mom just finished treatment at the end of 2022. So I think I’m leaning more towards a full hysterectomy.

I do have fibroids 4 total and a 7cm which is the biggest one, I have an upcoming hysteroscopy and to remove a fibroid that is the (causes) of my heavy periods not the bigger fibroids but this one is the cause of the heavy periods. After this I will be getting the UFE
MY GYNECOLOGIST wants to insert a birth control inside of my Coochie but Ave never been on birth control and I won’t be on it. He said it’s to balance my hormones but to be honest since switching to a plantbase lifestyle my periods has changed to better so I say food do play a role in fibroids, just my opinion. I have lost almost 35 lbs also bust eating plants I’m not 100% plantbase I and my husband go out to eat one per month and I have whatever I want but just once after my periods , I’m addicted to Cheetos but if I really want to stop it’s easy. I think I don’t have enough salt in my diet so I crave the salty Cheetos. I’m definitely gonna stop. My next step is to do a parasite cleanse and a detox and go 100% plantbase. I also take iron pills and vitamin D3+K , I take a multivitamin, B12 and Zinc all in liquids forms minus my multivitamin and they are all plantbase

Definitely can! If it/they are pressing on your bladder or kidneys. BUT could also be a UTI. Best to consult doc and get a urinalysis to rule that out unless you’re having fibroid symptoms too.

    • @StarBrandManager
      @StarBrandManager 5 місяців тому +1

Absolutely! I have one sitting right on my bladder and it causes frequent urination and the inability to hold it! Headed to surgery to have a partial hysterectomy. I am 51 and ready for the relief and to stop looking 800 months pregnant! 😂

    • @SassyO100
      @SassyO100 4 місяці тому

Yes. My bladder is impacted greatly as I have my largest fibroid (now 6cm) on the top of my uterus which is pressing down on my bladder which means it fills up pretty quickly and can’t hold as much as it should as its capacity is being impacted literally. It feels really bad in the mornings but I manage it through the day by sipping on water slowly and often so not to fill so fast. I will admit it’s been rather debilitating especially when out running errands.

It’s really up to you/what your physician recommends. One of my best friends had the UFE surgery and I had an open myomectomy-we both are experiencing relief. I didn’t have the option for UFE because mine were so big in relation to my body and they were crowding around my organs so it wasn’t safe.
