Kimani or Luke should be next coach if Hurley decides to go.
Hurley isnt going to the Lakers. He's a North East guy, just ask his wife. Now if it's the Knicks or the Nets, then we have something to worry about.

Remember, $100mil for 6 years. Nobody would pass this up. Only reason he didn’t accept Kentucky offer was he knew the Lakers wanted him. Kentucky has unlimited $$$$ for a coach.
If Hurley leaves, they need to name one of the assistants an interim head coach and extend the search time into next season.

Better than 98% odds they promote one of the assistants. It's the correct decision. Will keep the roster together. And if it doesnt work out, you just fire them and shoot for the next Calhoun/Hurley/Geno
Yes I don’t see a scenario where it’s not Kimani Young. Maybe Luke Murray. UConn needs to do everything they can to keep the current roster together. I think a hire from within is the only choice. Plus I don’t see Hurley leaving for the Lakers and then leaving UConn in shambles like when he took over 6 years ago. Listening to Karaban talk about how much Young helped him when he arrived at UConn. Young seems like the best candidate to replace Hurley.

Only been to Connecticut twice but when I was there, the state looked economically advanced, very nice people, good food, tons of liberals and conservatives lots of cultures and so many smart people one of the better liberal states I’ve been to.
