Hurley is a brilliant coach. And his "antics", or whatever, are brilliant - it forces the focus on HIM and the press/comments OFF of his players. Who wouldnt want to play for a coach like that?

Great job, UConn basketball! Men’s and Women’s Huskies have been so much fun to watch these past decades. I’m proud to be associated with this university and state.
Hurley is universally loved here in Connecticut. Of course he is… Aside for the month of January, 2023 everything has gone nearly perfect. It’ll be really interesting to see how things go when UCONN hits a few years where they may not be sitting at the top of the Big East standings. I know I feel like Hurley gets a five year free-pass for what he brought back to Connecticut. Two straight ultra-dominant NCAA tourney runs. That’ll be legend in this state long after I’m dead.
