Bruh do you really want them to invite FNS rn when there's no content to talk about? They'd probably schedule him to appear right before the season starts or right after. So they have actual content to talk about with an actual top tier pro being on the podcast for the first time.
Toast does have a considerable SE Asian viewerbase - back when he still had the FB deal, filipinos made up a considerable portion of viewers. Malaysia and Singapore are also the largest concentration of english speakers in SE Asia aside from the Philippines (no need to make content in other languages), and Toast does have the whole “i grew up in Malaysia” thing going on. MYSG’s VCL is also empty of any real opponents - the only roster that could give Bleed a run for their money last year has disbanded. So Disguised has pretty good odds of getting the Ascension qualifier spot. The problem is that this roster frankly doesn’t look like it can beat the other leading Ascension candidates - Thailand has several T2 rosters that look really good (FS, NKT, Xerxia and MiTH), same for the Philippines (NAOS and Oasis). Boom also looks like it’ll roll VCL Indonesia, same for Fennel in VCL Japan.
Idea for next episode, reviewing the WAY TOO EARLY preditctions you guys did in about the 2023 season/Tokyo/Champions. Would be funny to see the wrong & right predictions

i think the light armour meta made economy management less important since you could force almost every round. i think a gun that makes people think more about how they're going to spend their money could be good a thing for vct

The Outlaw is also cracked for mid-round/retaking when people are likely to have taken 10+ damage. It’s a 1 shot to the body in that instance and 2-shots in the mag may be all you need in those scenarios.
I think people are misidentifying the outlaw. it's not a stronger marshal. it's a slightly weaker OP. what I mean is. it's an OP substitute. it's not the other way where Outlaw is a staple and Marshal is a substitute. I think when it finally settles down. we'll see Outlaw buys only in rounds where if your team is in a buy round and your enemy can somewhat do it like 3300 creds or 3500. what will happen is Outlaw will dominate light shield + vandal/phantom. but a full shield + guardian will win definitely.

There is so much t2 talent in NA, feel like NA got really fucked out of having their own VCT league ngl. LATAM and BR shouldve merged but their t2 scene just struggles so much with the t1 teams being in LA, meaning the prac quality is a lot worse.
