Why do we travel? - Sony Fx3 Doc

Thank you guys for all of your support and advice. Here is the (4k Version)
I flew to California and hopped in an RV for 10 days. Here are some of the views we encountered.
Some travel to escape. I’ve always traveled to go towards never away from. There’s a difference there. I travel in the hopes that my soul can break free of the cadence of everyday life. A chance to sit in silence. To remove myself from the clutter, the fog, the screens.
The mountains move me with such a stillness. Forcing me into submission. “Live, they say. Live your life. For if you do not the universe ceases to exist
To remember that I am alive. To ground myself, so that I can be present with those I love most once I return.
To rest… to just sit there and rest…
I almost never travel alone. I surround myself with those who fill my days with laughter and adventure. Those who look to the stars with wonder and continue to ask the important questions. Those who don't shy from the difficulties of life but embrace them and embrace one another knowing that no one is free of them.
A wise man once said, Exploration is in our nature. We humans were wanderers from the beginning. And whenever I get the chance, I wander still.

The 35mm will always have my heart. But for travel I find my self using a zoom for various scenarios. This one was a Tamron 28-75mm.
