Theresa May's most memorable moments as PM

- TEARFUL Theresa May today finally admitted her time was up and quit as Prime Minister insisting: "I've done my best".
The PM was forced to resign after she failed to deliver Brexit and lost the support of her own MPs - but will continue in office as a lame duck until July.
Shortly after meeting Tory "executioner" Sir Graham Brady, she addressed the nation in the spring sunshine of Downing Street - watched by adoring husband Philip - and admitted her time is up...

How do you think she will be remembered?
Balancing it out. The fields of wheat comment was hilarious, however on the more serious side, she has made false promises and has gone back on her word multiple times, hence why no one trusted her. And her downfall was inevitable due to her continuously trying to put through a so called deal that was never going to go through Parliament. If she had stuck to her word, who knows where this could've gone?

An alternative 5th of November created.

She wasn’t a bad priminister she just wasn’t the right priminister for brexit

She truly seems like a down-to-earth woman who loves her country
Oh yea every politician seems to luv their country...

-Strong and stable government

Same, bad prime minister but shes only human and maybe she just wasnt cut of for the job
@@joedwyer3297 Well how is Boris any better? at least she tried to get a reasonable deal, and yet Remainers thought blocking her deal would somehow lead to a 2nd referendum, while Brexiteers couldn't handle the reality that there is no deal that will give them the Brexit fantasy that they pretend is possible....

Running through fields of wheat is the worst thing she ever did? LOL. That's badass.
@Sean Lewis Yea, bet those farmers are fuming. She shoud never have been allowed to hold office after doing that. Mad woman!!!
I THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO SAY, ''NAKED'. SO PASS THE BUCKET.
If she was asked that question now at least she'd have a more hard core answer.............. I managed to destroy an entire country
It is very easy to criticise Theresa may though what some fail to realise is that the job put in front of her by her predecessor was insurmountable and the pressure that came with it was immense
It was stupid of her to put so much stock into Brexit. Get a good deal (hardly anyone expected a 'deal' of any kind before voting) or just go no deal. The whole thing was just so silly.
I bet the rank and file average British punter was like: "She's obsessed with this Brexit nonsense. What's wrong with her?"
Through all of her faults as a Prime Minister, she's clearly a dedicated woman to the country and is a good Member of Parliament, legit all the PMs that have come before her have completely resigned from their politician roles, she's still a backbencher and is still standing strong, can't fault her for that. Good on you May, even though I don't agree with you politically, you are a good MP.
The naughtiest thing I've ever done? oh... well... I guess I did repeatedly break international law by supplying weapons to Saudi Arabia which the world wasn't too happy about

She probably could’ve been a decent PM at literally any other point in history

Sadly she "served the country she loves" up on a plate to the EU.
Utter disgrace.
I really do think she's nuts
She didn't. You did when you voted for Brexit. Do you really think there is anybody in Britain who can negotiate a better deal? The EU has the upper hand and it will not give it up.
@@PrexXyx deluded

Say what you will about Theresa May. At least she didn't turn tail and run. Isn't that right David Cameron?
David Cameron was honest in the sense that he understood that if I don't believe in something, I shouldn't stand in public leadership to implement it. Theresa May on the other hand is a psychopath. Too bad she failed in that also.
@I'm Watching YOU "honest in the sense"

When she left Downing Street today.
WE CAME

SHE CRIED
Aww she may not be the best Prime Minister but she's not the worst, she seems like such a sweetheart
Unfortunately we will never really know how good or not she may of been as Prime Minister because her ENTIRE time in number 10 was overshadowed by Brexit, a situation where NOBODY knew what to expect or how to handle it because it had never happened before, she really was dropped right in at the deep end to handle somebody else's problem.
May had it all!! All she had to do was delivery on Brexit, she had a majority; she had 17 + million British people backing her; she had no deal on the table, what else did she need. She threw it all away, lost her majority, lost the will of the people, became a weak and feeble politician. She deserves what happened to her, she only as herself to blame, it could have been so different if she believed what she was saying, "Brexit means Brexit". Now she will go down in history as Britain's worse Prime Minister.
The British public voted, or got fooled into voting for something that was undeliverable in it's promise form. She was a fool for thinking she could deliver it. Finally, you are a fool for thinking Brexit can be delivered without great economic and political damage to the United Kingdom.
Abel Magwitch nope karen
Brexit was happening anyway. A good deal or no deal at all, it's so odd how she harped on it constantly and hung her hat on it.
At some point, any sensible person would go on TV and say "It looks like we may not get the Brexit we want, but since it's happening anyway, we either get that or we just go it alone. I won't compromise."
What about when she first became PM and walked back and forth along Downing St and make crazy facial expressions?

@@5gonza541 should have just gone with no deal. Sell it as a position of strength. 'Our way or the highway'. No guile.

THE OLD HAGS GONE *crab rave music plays in my head*
I kinda liked her....
Same!
With tears in her eyes Theresa May announced that she will be resigning on June 7th.
Some people will feel pity for her, and believe the mainstream media hagiographies about how "she did her best", but the fact that she cried tears of self-pity as she resigned simply serve to illustrate her selfishness and callousness.
She cried no tears for the Windrush Brits she unlawfully discriminated against and even forced into exile overseas.
She cried no tears for the victims of the Grenfell fire when she rocked up to the scene and refused to even meet the survivors.
She cried no tears for the four million British kids growing up in dire poverty, and even sought to scrap their free school meals and replace them with a 7p per child breakfast.
She cried no tears for the millions of sick and disabled people that her government has systematically abused to the point of literally thousands of people being treated like idle scroungers and told that they're "fit for work" just weeks before their deaths.
She cried no tears for the millions of people who suffered the devastating consequences of Tory austerity fanaticism, and even lied through her teeth that "austerity is over" while continuing it.
She cried no tears for the Yemeni children blown to pieces by the tyrannical Saudi war criminals, in fact she kept on signing more and more arms contracts with them despite knowing that they're using British weapons to commit their war crimes.
Yet she cried tears for herself as she finally let go of her grip on political power.
Many people will argue that she was the worst Prime Minister ever, but in a way she was actually the perfect Tory Prime Minister. A perfect distillation of the utterly selfish, greed is a virtue, rob the poor to give to the rich, 'no such thing as society' Tory philosophy.
The only person she's ever felt sorry for is herself, so don't be fooled into taking pity on her.
If you want to feel sorry for anyone, take a moment to remember the millions of victims of her policies.
And if you don't want to do that, then have some pity on yourself and your fellow Brits, because whichever Brextremist the tiny clique of Tory party members pick out as our next Prime Minister is surely going to be even worse than she was.
I'd rather have her as Prime Minister than Johnson

I genuinely do feel sorry for her. She tried her best to get a deal for the UK, granted it wasn't a good one, but the UK is not the one with the power here in terms if negotiations. The EU is much larger and much more powerful and they aren't going to make it easy. She had Corbyn and opponents up her ass saying she was doing a crap job despite not actually saying what they were going to do despite the EU saying flat out they will have NO other deal.
