I wonder if Maritimo would ever consider bringing an explorer type boat to the market....something similar like a Flemming/Nordhaven

I almost bought the S600, but didn't like the fact that it never had a tender garage. A davit in the lazzarette is too clunky. Ditto for the roof.
This boat has beautiful lines and they would be spoilt by having a tender on the roof or aft platform. If Maritimo is going to stick with the lazzarette and davit for the tender, then on the S600 closed deck and the open adventure deck on the S55, they should design the tender launch and retrieval system so that the port side of the boat folds down and the tender can be lifted out of the lazzarette and deposited into the water on the port side of the boat. That fixes the davit length problem on the S600 to lift and retrieve the tender out of the lazzarette.
There is no doubt that the S600 and S55 would be best in class by a long shot if:
    1) They either had an aft tender garage or a system where the port side of the boat could fold down so that the tender could be lifted out of the lazzarette with a davit and placed in the water port side.
    2) Have hybrid motors so that the hotel facilities on board can be powered with electric, not just for reducing emmissions, but also so that you don't have noisy generators running at anchor and going in and out of marinas. The whole point of boating is to connect with nature in silence without noisy generators or diesel motors running.
I don't mind putting kayaks on the roof because they have a low profile and won't spoil the beautiful lines of the boat. Pity.
Looks like I'm going with the Princess V55 even though I prefer the roomy and light filled salon of the S600 and S55.
