Thank you very much for this nice overlook. My budgets are tight, so I was kind of sad of not being able to afford the forties, but you proved me wrong, thank you very much for that! Now I will know for sure that thirties are in reality no worse.
Thks for the review. In Singapore the price difference is around SGD30 (which is ard CAD29). Much closer pricing here, so maybe the m40x is worth the extra.
Me again. Hope you have been well Livlos. I am broke yet as I bought my first audio Interface and comes tomorrow. So I forgot I should buy some studio cans. I went elcheap without dumpy sound I hope. I ordered the Used pair from a big seller on Mercari. 28 ship...total. Audio technica ATH M20X...Entry level but I've heard they are decent and maybe even the best at that price point. I'll upgrade should I see fit. My main concern will be the figuring out how to use a daw. And how to run my PC desktop and all the plugs I need to set up this little studio in my camper here. Hahah. Interface comes tomorrow ...Focusrite solo scarlett series 3rd gen. Man I just hope to make beautiful music on guitar ambient stuff. For now.
I heard good things about focus rite! M20x are decent for the price. Ive however fallen in love with Sennheiser hd280s. What software do you use to record?
@@Livlos I have Reaper on the old pc but man that's the part I worry about. I've NEVER sat down and tried to figure out how to use any recording audio software.
Dear Livlos, you have said that the sound is identical but everywhere it says that m40x is more flat than m30x and m50x. I bought m30x today and the bass was a little bit too much for me. Should I change it with m40x for less bass?
Back then I would have said yes, now a days I can't live with out my Sennheiser hd 280 pro. I use them when gaming or recording. Comfy for LONG hours of wear and to my ears they sound better. My M40x have since broken and I left my 30x at my work office. I believe you can find the Sennheiser for under 100 usd (www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD280PRO-Headphone-new-model/dp/B00IT0IHOY/ref=sr_1_1?crid=S9LJ1YLJ3W6A&dchild=1&keywords=sennheiser+hd+280+pro&qid=1591037792&sprefix=sennheiser+hd+280%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-1 YUP!) Of course keep in mind sound is subjective. Hope that helps.
@@Livlos thanks man i subbed...any recommendation for wireless earbuds or headphones as well because i want one for music and at home and another for workouts and going for walks
@@Ivan-mn3ph I'm the same ;) I'd say stay away from JayBirds.... unless they have fixed the major issues (I had the X2 and they ended up in the trash...). I am currently using a pair of Jabra Elite 65t that I really enjoy. No real issues since I got them (maybe 6 months ago?). Good battery. I think they sound good. And for me they are comfortable.
They sell replacements...but they are pricey. They should last a few years. However if you are in the market for studio headphones I would suggest you check out Sennheiser HD 280 pros instead. They are my current favourite set
Nice job on the review, great video and sound presentation.

why would you use monitor headphones to talk around? These are for studio and mixing, editing.
Which has more clearer and accurater flatter sound? Or they just the same? Thank you
Informative video, tks.maybe aim your camera down or zoom out so we can see the headphones the whole time instead of just you.
are these the best headphones for around 100 us dollars or what is the best. Keeping comfort, design and sound in mind.
