This is more of a quick overview of how to build one rather than a tutorial. But I do admit, I actually liked the video quite a bit because I like to see how other people are building these. Decent video!
Cool video. Thanks to you, I know what front end means. I don’t have enough room to build my own arcade cabinet, but I just resurrected my old Nintendo Wii and programmed it to emulate everything from Atari to Wii.
Oh man, I gotta do this. Favorite Arcade, that's a hard question to answer. If not Street Fighter 2, than Konami' s The Main Event. Wrestling game. Loved it.
It was so many arcade games i never beat. Dam cabinet took all my lunch money quarters lol but my favorite games are Mario Bros. The Simosons Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1942 And more lol
I will do something close to this project and I like the no need for power tools. My favorite games were Galaga, Centipede, Samurai showdown , everything SEGA, and MAME. Thanks bud.
You are welcome Eric. Really happy you enjoyed the video man. Good luck building your cabinet. Hope you enjoyed the video man and I hope to see you around again here at the channel!
One thing that's nice is their uprights are in two parts. So if you have to carry it up out of a basement (to move for example), you can remove the top and move the bottom and top separately.
Yes I agree completely. I've had to move my cabinet a few times and it's not too bad to move. Even for just 1 person. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Hope to see you back here again on the channel.
Such an awesome product. When I first clicked the video, I thought I'd see you and the kids in the woodworking shop fabricating a cabinet! This is way better, because the cost of wood is so high and the number of tools and man hours it would take to put this together would be staggering. Thanks for sharing! BTW, my favorite cabinet game growing up was Double Dragon.
No way I could fabricate a cabinet from scratch lol. Yeah this is definitely the way to go in my opinion and I didn't want to have an old cabinet that may have an old CRT because I'm always afraid of the kids getting hurt from giant monitors like that and I know if I had to ever work on it that I'd probably electrocute myself lol. And Double Dragon is a nice choice! All time classic for sure. Thanks so much for the comment man!
I've tried retro pie for a mini arcade machine and it gave me issues. Many of the games wouldn't work but they worked fine on my cabinet. I got frustrated with it
GenerationGapGaming That's odd...I've used it for both my pi builds and never had any issues. I'll have to try the one you mentioned and see how it fares.
I saw you link on my youtube channel and I am here to show my love and support to you GenerationGap! Thank for sharing this video. I subscribed to your channel. :D
Well good luck on the build and let me know what you come up with. I'd love to see it! If you saw my overrated NES games video then you may already know I'm not a big fan of bubble bobble lol. But to each his own my friend. Thanks for commenting!
Great video and selection of an arcade cabinet. Was looking into the Arcade 1up cabinets but they only come with 2 to 12 games and they are so tiny. For 2 or 3 of them I can go the Rec Room route and play thousands of games. It's really a no brainer.
My thoughts exactly Leo! I'm really glad you enjoyed the video man. The arcade 1up cabinets do look nice, but I'm extremely satisfied with my cabinet. It is great quality. Hope to see you around again here at the channel!
This is awesome. I didn't know this existed until now. Was thinking I might have to get an old MK cabinet and use that. Thanks for the upload. Hope you're still enjoying it!
Thanks for the kind words Robert! Glad you found this video helpful. Yes man I absolutely love the cabinet and I've had it for almost 3 years. Great value and quality and fully customizable. Its awesome. Hope to see you around again here at the channel!
$900 isn't that bad at all. I'm really liking the direction your channel is going man. Love the original ideas you're coming up with and have no doubt you'll go far if you keep it up. I hope you're doing well, man! :)
I'm looking to build a 4 player arcade stand alone. A 2 player gunslinger arcade stand alone and then a classic arcade. In the corner I will have a 40in flatscreen with a pi with all console games from nintendo to psx my big challenge here is going to be finding a couple classic sitdown drive games that I can put in my basement. In the other half of my basement I think I'm going to get a 3 in 1 pool hockey and basketball game table for the kids
Very neat project, for sure. I would have to build my own cabinet though, but that twin arcade stick usb controller is neat, just wondering if it has its unique keybinds like it’s a controller, or is seen as a standard keyboard, or rather, if it will work with Steam. As for games, while I do like the classic arcades from the 2000s era, I’m mostly aiming to make arcade cabinets for PC games, such as the Touhou series, but as for fighting games, I’m thinking I’ll go for building a cabinet for Idol Showdown. This is still in conception though, so nothing of it will be tangible for quite some time in the current state of affairs. This has me wondering if that front end supports adding PC games in its selectable lists.
Instint sub, great video, im gonna build a machine with the new kinhank 12tb monster drive and a mini pc...may be dauting but i will for sure figure it out and have everyrning up too nintendo swith playable at a high frame rate...ill keep u posted
@@GenerationGapGaming and sir i want play my mame rom s on pc but i cant send file i download puyo puyo (world) but when i click it it says error file game didnt found help me dud!
That's a tough question to answer man. there were some roms I had that I couldn't get to work either. sometimes you need some weird chd files for certain games I just had to do a bunch of googling to troubleshoot but it can be super tough sometimes but I have no experience with puyo puyo. Sorry if I havent been much help but every arcade rom is different man
Doug Winn oh you mean the dual screens. I misunderstood you. I have the games but it's just split top and bottom on one screen. I'd love to have an original punchout cabinet too!

Sorry but those cabinet are way over priced and they don't look like real arcade cabinet. They look like IKEA arcade cabinet. You're better off finding a real use cabinet gut it and rebuilt the internal.
"how to build an arcade cabin for beginners"
Have someone else build it for you.
-how to build an arcade cabinet?

Lol I was thinking the same thing. Sad clickbait.
Yes, everyone has a grand or more to splash out.
@Reee Flex definitely the best suggestion. channel blocker extension is really helpful in that case

So, you didn’t build it.
I bought the same cabinet for the same reasons. Great summary of the features, and thanks for the front end recommendation!

Haha, and not to mention, adding the PC into the mix gives you countless game options to play. Especially with all the emulators out there these days.
Retropie is always my front end of choice.

It really isn't a bad price and I absolutely love having this cabinet. Thanks for the kind words!
remember that 900 does not include the controller box, monitor and PC. Their high end controller box can be close to 400-500
Damn a arcade that costs 900 while building one can be 100 dollars nice
I don't think it's possible to build an arcade for $100
Love the music!
Very cool idea...I need more room in my garage!
Thanks Ray! They have bartop and smaller full-size cabinet options also. Very high quality products!

I want to do this but can it work with a laptop?

dude that is so sick dude!!!!!!!
Thanks man. Love the arcade machine. Always a dream of mine!

Do you have the option of adding light guns? if so how easy is it to install?
You should look into launchbox
Great video! I’ve always wanted an arcade cabinet but space and portability were always my main concern :/

so what if I have a tower? do I put a monitor in place?
thank you!

So this can run other emulators? I wanted to play Fighting vipers and fighters megamix, but they are on console
On the website iit says it doenst come with a monitor. So what is it then??
Off the top of my head, Sunset Riders is one of my favorite arcade games. But really, there are hundreds.
