Awesome! How have I never heard about the Hi loop situation from the garbage disposal!? Here I thought my kids were just trying to wash whole cheeseburgers or something in the dishwasher and it was getting clogged from the dishwasher side. It was the garbage disposal side the entire time!

How about running the dishwasher with vinegar and baking soda? The dishwasher will push the vinegar into that drain pipe and kill the bacteria, right?

I would say that's treating the symptom, not the problem. The line needs to drain.
