This episodes insane. I just found this channel recently by accident and I've been hooked and I'd be terrified of snakes and reptiles, especially those enormous ones but I love watching this channel. I'm working my way through the older videos.
Oh my goodness. I was so tense watching that. I don't think I took a breath for the entire 8 minutes you were moving it! Such an amazing snake, so glad to see it in a larger and happier home!
I’m a new follower/fan of yours. Very cool looking back at your property years ago and seeing how far it’s come along. Even cooler seeing Fred before his medical issue, the same that my dad didn’t survive from. It actually brings me joy when I see/hear of people that beat it. What a living legend he is!
Haha yea, Kenan realized there's better ways halfway into carrying her....... i mean they could have binned it at then carried the bin over to the new enclosure;) but this was far more entertaining.
That snake was perfectly calm until you came and grabbed it by the head-snakes really don't like that. The only thing you did was freak it out and cause it to view you has a threat. You could have gotten away with just one or two of you carrying it. The only thing this video accomplished was that it made these large, beautiful creatures look more dangerous than they actually are. If you don't have the confidence or understanding that's needed to own/handle a large snakes then don't do it. They aren't toys and they aren't monsters.
That old guy is a person that should not have a snake like that. lmao. Prehistoric pets dude (forget his name) handles his huge retics like theyre 3ft ball pythons. I started dying when kenan yelled "hes tense dude!" as the snake is going wild haha
One of the main reasons that poor retic is so mean is because he is in his cage all the time and it’s too small if you ask me, and that old dude holds him wrong like wtf? If you hold it or atleast let it out once a day, anything will be tame.
It is at this point I take how strong Kenan and Fred must be to hold the 16 ft snake's head. Also the closest I've seen Kenan come to swearing bc of a heated situation
this snake is prob a fussy individual reptile but any excessive anxiety on the part of handlers makes the stiuation worse...with any animal....in control but calm and gentle as possible tells the animal there is no danger and sets him up for a better experience nest time also.
Nothing about that snake was aggresive or defensive i could of got him out by myself he didnt get worked up until you grabbed that head...ive had snakes lunging out of cages and keep striking until I get them fully out this tiger retic was calm and curious just wondering what was going on and that "hissing" was just probably breathing cuz retics are heavy breathers and their breathing can be mistaken for hissing
Next time you handle such big snakes, make sure there's alcohol, pure alcohol closeby. If you put that on the nose, they seriously hate that and they will let go!
Hello I am 23, 6'3" 200lbs. I have had a fear of snakes my whole life. Where do I go to organisation wise where they teach you the right way of how to treat a snake?
I don't know any organizations off the top of my head but I'm sure there are some. You can always google care sheets and they will tell you how to take care of any particular species. But if you want hands on experience, you can visit a repticon show, they are occur all along the west and east coast. The big ones are in Florida and California. You can talk to people there and they will tell you anything you need to know. The tickets are quite cheap as well so no worries there. I can't guarantee that every single vendor/person will give perfect advice since many of them are just breeders but if you talk to several of them, you can see which ones are passionate and which aren't (the passionate ones give the best advice since they care for the well being of the animal).
It was a setup for the reality show they were shooting a pilot for. The snake wasn’t even fighting, they were doing it. He’s explained it before. The producers wanted more drama.
WOW that was crazy that was a huge snake , I am glad to see it in a better place and every body safe....I was sweating watching and for sure it peed all kinds, The little grass snakes in MTL stink so bad, I can't imagine a snake like that....lol
How funny would it be if once they all grabbed the snake and it started freaking out if the guy that had the head just let go and left them in that room with no control over that snake hahah
i keep on coming back to this video just to have a good laugh omg that is hilarious We got snakey lol omg im going to watch it again lmao Kenan love ur show but this is so funny i wish i was there i would have laugh so hard you would be mad lol
Shaun Houghton for the camera. They were shooting a pilot for a reality show and the producers wanted drama. Then kenan said he wasn’t interested in doing this for tv so they walked. They’ve handled the snake dozens of times since then alone.
Well I mean yeah it's a little skittish but by it letting him slide his hand under him and him wanting to slowly come out of cage with no defiance mode I call BS the thing was calm as can be. Awesome snake and also me Video tho. Love the tiger
No offense to your friends Kenan, but none of those folks knew what they were doing and they could have easily gotten you... or the snake... seriously hurt.
What do you mean that albino one is "not gonna get that big" ?? It's a burm, which means though probably it isn't gonna grow as long, it will still significantly outweight the retic, which in turn means it will carry more body mass and be *"more snake to handle"* than its thinner cousin. You seem to forget that, as far as pythons go, burms are the most massive variety there is, with some adult females putting on anaconda-like girth.
They don't make pets??? Man, someone better tell mine that she is a bad pet! lolol I have a two year plus female normal mainland reticulate python. I have had her since she was about 6 months old and handled her regularly. Obviously, that one hadn't been. Still, coming out of the cage, it wasn't aggressive. The thing about retics is they are one of the smartest snakes. They do remember how they are handled. Might want to consider trying to earn its trust. Though, when in feed frenzy, they are dangerous.
omg my most fave video because I'm scared to death of snakes n to watch a video of y'all moving that fella well just say my hand was over my mouth so not to be screaming at y'all Get out da way or watch out. lol
I didn't see why ya had to grad the snake by the head for, he didn't show any aggression. He only started resisting because ya grab his head, any animal would
Watching young nervous Kenan is so funny compared to the calmer and more experienced Kenan we see today
This episodes insane. I just found this channel recently by accident and I've been hooked and I'd be terrified of snakes and reptiles, especially those enormous ones but I love watching this channel. I'm working my way through the older videos.

Watching old videos like this and watching videos now from you... you can really see how much you have grown as a person and at your profession
I’m a new follower/fan of yours. Very cool looking back at your property years ago and seeing how far it’s come along. Haha yea, Kenan realized there's better ways halfway into carrying her.......
i mean they could have binned it at then carried the bin over to the new enclosure;) but this was far more entertaining.

That old guy is a person that should not have a snake like that. lmao. Prehistoric pets dude (forget his name) handles his huge retics like theyre 3ft ball pythons.

Can Kamali he had me dying when he said that😂😂😂
I lost it at the unnecessary reality TV graphic 😂
Oh my stars!!! That was so intense! I am with the camera man. No snakes for me either :)
One of the main reasons that poor retic is so mean is because he is in his cage all the time and it’s too small if you ask me, and that old dude holds him wrong like wtf? If you hold it or atleast let it out once a day, anything will be tame.
Damn that snakes a killer, all muscle,
"This Is No Joke!" - A Second Later: "He he he"
Just wanted to know when your web site would be up I'm looking to get a sulcata
It is at this point I take how strong Kenan and Fred must be to hold the 16 ft snake's head. Also the closest I've seen Kenan come to swearing bc of a heated situation
Man, good ole Fred was pretty easy to understand just a few years ago.
i agree that snake was perfectly calm, i also have a retic
Funniest episode ever lol
I love how he said that the Burmese Python made a "small population" in Florida.😄😄
Tbf that was like 8 years ago
this snake is prob a fussy individual reptile but any excessive anxiety on the part of handlers makes the stiuation worse...with any animal....in control but calm and gentle as possible tells the animal there is no danger and sets him up for a better experience nest time also.
Dude your job is fu**** awesome
I've never helped hold one that big but it's hard because they can caterpillar even if everyone's holding it with all their strength.
With great snakes, comes great responsibility.

False but good try. Depends on snake to snake.
Why did I laugh my brain out

Great job keeping the video clean haha. I definitely would have let the f word slip.
This was a video of how not to handle a snake. Awful.
I know that was I’d felt with a 20 foot reticulated python and I think he like made it looked hard to get the likes
This was 5 years ago and kenan is a turtle guy he was just making sure none of the humans was hurt but i agree could be done better
It was a setup for the reality show they were shooting a pilot for. The snake wasn’t even fighting, they were doing it. He’s explained it before. The producers wanted more drama.

Shaun Houghton for the camera. They were shooting a pilot for a reality show and the producers wanted drama. Then kenan said he wasn’t interested in doing this for tv so they walked. They’ve handled the snake dozens of times since then alone.
I am shook, I would have pissed myself.

He was so mad 😂
Well I mean yeah it's a little skittish but by it letting him slide his hand under him and him wanting to slowly come out of cage with no defiance mode I call BS the thing was calm as can be. Awesome snake and also me Video tho. Love the tiger
What makes you think that burm won't get "that" big. Burms get fucking huge, and usually heavier bodied than retics.
I bet Kenan got grey hairs just from this episode
Why is the volume so low?
Wow, the snake isn't acting aggressive at all. Till you grab it. Should have just pulled it out.
Great content
hahahaha..i love this video
Me to
The snake was tame...U guys blew out of proportion...
No offense to your friends Kenan, but none of those folks knew what they were doing and they could have easily gotten you... or the snake... seriously hurt.
And nowadays, they know to NOT grab any snake made the head like that, it will just make it really defensive and it is gonna want to bite ya
Rest in peace Fred
Hahahaha WOW I laughed by ass off at you bahahahaaah
dam that was funny ass hell @kampkenan

Gotta say, aswell as being a beautiful snake, I believe if he hadn't been couped up from a hatchling, this whole process may have been easier
0:14, wouldn't snake eyes be a better name
Beautiful snake
RIP Fred
🙏
This is hilarious!
Where's brian! 😂 (I know this is super old)
They don't make pets??? Man, someone better tell mine that she is a bad pet! lolol I have a two year plus female normal mainland reticulate python. hahaha this is so funny :D
I didn't see why ya had to grad the snake by the head for, he didn't show any aggression. He only started resisting because ya grab his head, any animal would
I just love iguanas my name is rony
I agree with the cameraman
He wasn't in attack mode if he was, his neck would be in an S shape and he would be retreating a lot more, he was just moving.
