@@78rebel78 I can only assume but what makes comedy funny is truth and relatability. Comedies (unless slapstick or the like) can get away with fudging the truth much less that a scary/suspense movie. One thing I'm surprised wasn't mentioned is how the idea of alpha wolves is often misrepresented. The alpha male and female in a pack is usually just the main breeding pair, and the other wolves are their family and children. The combative dominant hierarchy style wolf packs usually occur more often in places where non-related wolves are placed in an environment together and have to form a pack that way, such as in captivity or when different wolves are relocated to the same area. Both kinds can happen, but the combative hierarchy style pack is not nearly as universal as many movies make it out to be.
Thanks, I just literally told someone else this. Most wolf packs are family packs, led by one or two packleaders, the "mating pair" as your said, with their subordinates their children usually. The person that coined the "alpha" term for wolves realized he was wrong.
I'd say that's a compliment. If he said very CG then the visual artist would be crying. But the fact he said a little CG, you made the bear realistic enough in behavior and sounds to convince us it could be a real bear.

Always enjoy watching Forrest interviews! Extremely knowledgeable and def the number 1 expert I search to learn about wildlife. Would be amazing to go on an expedition with his team!
As an Australian, crocs are scary as s!@&. They are probably the most predatory animals and they are HUGE! It’s well known in Australia that you don’t get into croc water.
For anyone interested in Forrest and wildlife, you should listen to his podcast “The Wild times”. Him and his two buddies do tons of segments on wildlife and it actually has funny aspects to it. As a biology student, you learn a ton and it feels like you’re just hanging out with some friends.
@#Anton #FIN I think one of his main arguments throughout the video though is that these predatory animals are not really vengeful. They're hunters, so they hunt for prey or kill to protect. But they don't hold grudges and go after people outrageously risking their lives to kill.
It’s always a shock when someone says they haven’t seen Jaws. What Forrest doesn’t understand, because he hasn’t seen the movie, is that the shark is no ordinary shark, which is acknowledged by the two shark experts in the film, Hooper and Quint.
Humans respiratory system is trash bc the eating and breathing tubes are right next to each other unlike snakes and birds that go up the front of the head straight to the lungs so if you want to choke a bird press it's head
If you're gonna get a wild snake and have it as a house pet, 1. Don't have other animals like cats or dogs because if it gets hungry enough it will try to eat them, 2. Make sure it's a Boa instead, they're a lot tamer and easier to handle in-house than Python's or Anacondas.
I once had a teacher who asked us if we would rather be next to a bear or a shark, I asked him to specify what type. It ened up being a grisly or a great white. Everyone in my class looked at me like I was crazy when I said great white.

Amazing video, quick corrections though *There are not two but four species of anaconda. * The shark in Shallows is not a tiger shark but a great white. * Sharks don't confuse surfers for seals or sea turtles. That commonly known mistaken identity theory is not consistent. * Most shark attacks occur in less than 6 feet of water * Wolves have cause way more deaths. Just in Turkey there were 12 fatal wolf attacks in the last 10 years.

He is 100% correct about black bears being a bit more timid and less likely to attack. I've had two very close encounters with adult black bears and scared them off both times. I doubt that. Just looking at a list of horror movies and sorting by year, there was "The Killer Shark" in 1950 (and, like Jaws, it was a great white shark). Even further back, we have movies like "The Devil Bat" (mutant bats, 1940) and "The Sea Bat" (manta ray, 1930).
