In my experience in selling to plumbers, unless they're from a small shop, they don't flinch at paying a premium for the Ridgid pipe wrenches. I've never had to defect out a Ridgid wrench, but I have the Milwaukee and other brand pipe wrenches. Great channel Catus Maximus
Could you please measure the weights of the 18" aluminum pipe wrench versus the 18" iron wrench? I compared both in my hands simultaneously at HD awhile back and simply could not tell them apart by weight.
They are very nice wrenches, I use steel or aluminum depending on the application because I have broken my fair share with cheater pipes over the handles.
Aww come on... give em a break. That jaw has to be open to use that tool. Adĵust the jaw out a couple inches and measure again. Then put a few feet of pipe on the handle for a little more leverage. Always enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.

I do not use my 24" pipe wrenches often, but When I do. usually in pairs; I don't want not any excuses from the tool..
I'll stick with Iron
With the tool in use it will generally be open to 18 inches of length. Or so.

There’s no “m” in ubiquitous. They only say it that way in Utica, NY. lol. Love the vids. They’re my nightly ritual.
Hello again, Catus Maximus and Tiny
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Happy New Year's to you and your family 😊
These are my EDC. I am a water well pump technician. 10" to 48" they are the best.
