My favorite living violinist is Gil Shaham; I have had the great joy of hearing him live at least 20 times during the past 25 years and find his tone quality incredibly sweet. He is such a great communicator. My favorite comic-violinist duo is Two Set Violin. They have brought the love of classical music to young people with their amazing humor . I hope to hear you in person some day!!
I bought and listened to Jansen and Hahn’s recordings countless times over the years, probably more than their fans, but they’re not the violinists who effected my music journey through out the years.

They are wonderful too, I love Grumiaux’s Bach and classical period interpretations, Hadelich is basically good at everything 🎻
