That's The Ring, mate. Every minor mistake may cause major damages. You know, I made this experience in 2016 as well. Good thing is that you did not get hurt. And that there are definitely worse places on The Ring to crash. Hope your insurance company covered the whole damage?! This is not a normal insurance he's got. To have insurance on the ring you need to have an expensive racing insurance(Because normal insurance doesn't cover the damage done on racetracks/The ring). So you don't pay for him except when you also have a racing insurance ;)
Actually it depends on if it's Touristenfahrten oder a Trackday. For Touristenfahrten the Nordschleife is handled as a public road and as such different Laws are in effect (Such as Speed Limits and Overtaking rules). So I doubt this is the case in the video but in general normal insurance would cover the crash if you're German and it's a Touristenfahrt.

What was the mistake? I had a big accident (as a co driver), with 140 km/h, on a public road. I the backside slipped away and we turned 4-5 times around. The car was at the front and the end so centimeters shorter.
You were going great nice lines, just that rear wheel tips the grass and cause the spin hope you were ok and I see you fixed the car, I hope you do many more Laps :)

Stimmt nicht! Man muss das Kleingedruckte in seiner Versicherung lesen. Dort wird angegeben, ob das Fahrzeug bei solchen Events versichert ist, oder nicht.
Das wäre das einzige was mich auch davon abhält mal ein oder zwei runden zu drehen. Mir juckt es in den Fingern je öfter ich solche onboard videos von der nordschleife sehe xD

always close to the edge of the road so knew ahead of time the likely cause, however good to see someone driving near the limits. Did the car following cause any distraction? i was surprised at times where your visual focus appeared to be approaching the incident.

Great drive. With these sticky tyres the Cupra is a beast. Good traction out of the corners. I hope it was only bodywork damage.

no idea about seat gearboxes but that grinding sound mainly while upshifting would drive me crazy

I came for the crash but i stayed for the driving skills and the sexy car, hope its been fixed
