I’ve always liked to think Harley doesn’t have any loopholes of “I don’t have superpowers but I DO have a super buff.” She hits hard and she’s unexpectedly agile because she’s INSANE and has no regard for her own bodily safety.
@That Boy Aqua I seem to recall a moment from the comics where she backflips over the Arkham Prison Gateway. About 70 ft or so. So the crazy agility here is very much in tune with the comics. Plus, seeing as she's defeated Batman three times in hand-to-hand, the idea of her victory against Nightwing isn't nearly as big a deal as most make it out to be.

The Catwoman DLC was the one I was looking forward to the most and the stealth part, while a bit annoying was great, but that elevator section turned it into the most disappointing part for me.

A great detail when playing as Red Hood is that you can still perform a beatdown on a stunned enemy who is too far away, but there is a special animation where Jason will shoot the hell out of them instead of punching them
I always thought it would be cool that when you finish the game,in New Game+ you can switch the city from Night time to day time, or change the weather, when you play as Gordon for the short time outside, the daylight is stunning compared to the regular map.

I loved this game. The only thing I wish I could have gotten was the ability to play games plus as any character the whole way through. Maybe some bat cycles or different vehicles too.
During the stealth nightwing part every time I play it I try to knock someone off of the GCPD station. It’s always so funny to see them fall off of the building

What I like most about the Season of Infamy DLC is that the stories they offer all feel more self-contained than the basic side missions. It makes their completions feel more emotionally weighted
Honestly the DLC was worth it to me just for having Freeze and Ra's Freeze story is always so heartbreaking and to see him get a bittersweet ending like this was nice.

Something important to be said about the Nightwing DLC is that while outside of GCPD, it did a great job of doing post-Batman Gotham, in the middle of the day, covered in fog. It's a really surreal experience just thinking about how Batman is gone and seeing Gotham in the day.
The DLC was cool. But I don’t think they really added good length. The most wanted side mission are so short and quick to play through it was okay. Every Arkham Episode needed to be longer than 10-15 minutes
I think DLC can be a mixed bag. So long as the Base Game doesnt feel like its missing content that then mysteriously appears as DLC im usually pretty ok with it.
"The DLC is not integral" It....actually is. I mean. Mr Freezes story never got resolved in City. Same for Killer Croc. And this is supposed to be the ultimate batman experience. So not fighting his most famous villains goes against that.....
Freezes story was resolved as he was reunited with Nora and there was nothing that led me to believe that it needed a further resolution. As for Croc the guy was an easter egg in city. This IS the ultimate Batman experience.

The season pass was very expensive at launch and I think that’s where most of the bad feelings come from. The Season of Infamy I think is essential to the game
One thing I do during my playthrough is thst when I get the new suit, I use the Batman Beyond skin, because I think it just looks nice and it doesn't fuck with the cutscenes.

Because of that, I not only believed them, but I also played the Red-Hood DLC before even touching the main campaign 🤦🏻♂️
To be fair, Arkham Knight's identity is not a very good twist, considering how if you've read a Batman comic within the last 10 years, you can probably guess who he was.

I'd call it middle of the road. Take, for instance, the Borderlands series. Each DLC pack introduces a brand new story arc with new areas, new items and hours of content. I think the Season of Infamy was pretty good, but imagine what could have happened if they focused on more stuff at that level, perhaps a chunk of Bludhaven and a Nightwing story there.
One of the gripes I have with the Harley Quinn DLC is the fact that Nightwing gets his ass kicked by Harley which is just such bs in my mind because Nightwing is almost on the same level as Batman and he gets his ass whooped by a crazy doctor.
Not only is he on the same level as Batman he became Batman because he was on his level and he got his ass kicked by Harley Quinn Oracle could take down Harley

So perfect as I'm playing Knight once again recently. I still hate some of the tank battles and Riddler races, but overall, man, this game is still too sweet. And I am real close to shelling out for the Season Pass, hehe..
I think a story pack about azrael getting his revenge on the order of st dumas would've been sick because the developers could've let him use his sword in combat

I think a dlc that would’ve been awesome was a dlc where you play as Batman try to solve a ton of murders search some abandoned warehouses and then fight Red Hood it would be awesome. And then you have an emotional scene where you turn Jason back to the light and stops killing and then you reunite Jason with the rest of The Batfamily
*Thats a Mad Coincidence* I’m literally playing through Arkham Knight again in Lockdown - the story is still meh 😒 but the gameplay and side missions are strangely a lot better 🤷♂️
I honestly love the expanded bat world as they bring in more of the bat family. Its my favorite thing as they progressed the Arkham games. I like how some of these DLC's bring in other characters, like BatGirls has you fighting alongside Robin, and Killer Crocs has Batman and Nightwing. Its just so cool! I hope Gotham Knights can match this feeling!
Some other funny dialogue in the nightwing dlc is when you stay in the stealth section for long enough, penguin just striaght up starts crying in the elevator.
Just found that this video randomly and it make me realize how I really appreciated and play the hell out of the season pass of Arkham Knight back 2016-2017 and make realize either that is maybe the best season pass I bought in years.
I played Arkham Knight multiple times. I play the Arkham series once a year, it's kind of a tradition of mine. These games mean quite a lot to me and when I play it after not having played a year, it feels pretty fresh and fun. Sure, I know the storyline, but that just makes me more excited to get to play my favorite parts. My favorite part of Arkham Knight is when you enter Stagg's Airship for the first time. You spend a decent amount of time in there and there's a lot of sentimental value for me here because I had am amazing summer while I first played that particular part :) Love the whole series though.
Fun fact: as red hood u can throw a grenade at someone and it will stun them the u can do a ranged beat down using ur guns so it’s very nice to see new things added to the game

All 4 games and AC black flag are the only games ive done everything in plus DLC. The Arkham games hold up in almost everyway to this day and are games i always come back to. Especially since im older and have less time to game. These were my childhood and always fun to revist. Love the dark knight and these games are just masterpieces
The dlc missions are fine until you get to the Batgirl DLC where you realize that it is a million times better and makes the other DLC’s look like dogshit
It’s really inconsistent in the story like how technically Tim drake is 16 in the DLC and Barbara is 23 and their dating and how technically Tim drake robin was not robin at the time it was Jason and he had recently died

Like in uh, RWBY, there are names based off of, or exactly the same as real life names, but they're not pronounced that way, because the creators said so. Also, in RWBY it makes more sense because there's no China, or Germany, or whatever. But honestly, I don't really care how names are pronounced.

That Catwomen Electric floor part was beyond fustrating and im glad you pointed out that it was hard for you because that was a struggle foreal. coulndt even finish that dlc because of it at times. i finished it of course. but not without many fustrating moments
I did play all these back when the game came out and now after SSKTJL which I’m not playing but it got me back into the Batman mood, I’ve been playing the Arkham games again. I’m wrapping up Knight and playing these Arkham episodes again and one thing I didn’t notice and thought was very cool with Harley was her inner monologue back and forth with Harleen wrestling for control when you go into “detective vision” it made me want to stay in it the entire time and listen to their dialogue

also during the madhatter mission, when your in the story book the graphics change back to arham asylum and then arkham city before changing back to knight. I thought this was an amazing little detail that i only noticed after going back and playing the previous two games and then replaying the mad hatter mission. That was a really good detail and it showed how the game developed in terms of graphics.

For anyone curious the trick is to be brutal, fast, and lucky, but mostly just fast.

The characters creator said it should be Raysh even though the Arabic word is actually pronounced Raz/Raass so both are kinda right

Fetch is god their. I platinumed first light and still come back to free roam and the arena mode every few months.

One of the gripes I have with the Harley Quinn DLC is the fact that Nightwing gets his ass kicked by Harley which is just such bs in my mind because Nightwing is almost on the same level as Batman and he gets his ass whooped by a crazy doctor.

These kinds of dlc’s should become a norm in superhero games. Imagine playing as Spider-Gwen or Venom in insomniac’s game.
That Harley Quinn skin is worth it I have the same thoughts on it and I was stuck on that Catwoman robot fight for TOO LONG
So perfect as I'm playing Knight once again recently. I still hate some of the tank battles and Riddler races, but overall, man, this game is still too sweet. And I am real close to shelling out for the Season Pass, hehe..
I think a story pack about azrael getting his revenge on the order of st dumas would've been sick because the developers could've let him use his sword in combat

I just got it for $4. That’s it. I’m loving it. My favorite thing so far is the 60’s batmobile races. It’s so fun to zoom through fun sets from the show in the 60’s batmobile to the classic theme. It’s great
I think a dlc that would’ve been awesome was a dlc where you play as Batman try to solve a ton of murders search some abandoned warehouses and then fight Red Hood it would be awesome. And then you have an emotional scene where you turn Jason back to the light and stops killing and then you reunite Jason with the rest of The Batfamily
*Thats a Mad Coincidence* I’m literally playing through Arkham Knight again in Lockdown - the story is still meh 😒 but the gameplay and side missions are strangely a lot better 🤷♂️
I honestly love the expanded bat world as they bring in more of the bat family. Its my favorite thing as they progressed the Arkham games.
I like how some of these DLC's bring in other characters, like BatGirls has you fighting alongside Robin, and Killer Crocs has Batman and Nightwing.
Its just so cool!
I hope Gotham Knights can match this feeling!

Some other funny dialogue in the nightwing dlc is when you stay in the stealth section for long enough, penguin just striaght up starts crying in the elevator.
Just found that this video randomly and it make me realize how I really appreciated and play the hell out of the season pass of Arkham Knight back 2016-2017 and make realize either that is maybe the best season pass I bought in years.

I played Arkham Knight multiple times. I play the Arkham series once a year, it's kind of a tradition of mine. These games mean quite a lot to me and when I play it after not having played a year, it feels pretty fresh and fun. Sure, I know the storyline, but that just makes me more excited to get to play my favorite parts. My favorite part of Arkham Knight is when you enter Stagg's Airship for the first time. You spend a decent amount of time in there and there's a lot of sentimental value for me here because I had am amazing summer while I first played that particular part :) Love the whole series though.
I honestly didn’t mind the Batmobeil. It’s fun to traverse with and in the context of the story it makes sense to have a tank
Yes vut i feel the combat scenarios border moreso on tedious than enjoyable, especially the cobra tanks, its not difficult just tedious.
Fun fact: as red hood u can throw a grenade at someone and it will stun them the u can do a ranged beat down using ur guns so it’s very nice to see new things added to the game
My man deserves so much more subs, other in depth game reviews are like a lullaby to me, while yours are more like ear candy.

All 4 games and AC black flag are the only games ive done everything in plus DLC. The Arkham games hold up in almost everyway to this day and are games i always come back to. Especially since im older and have less time to game. These were my childhood and always fun to revist. Love the dark knight and these games are just masterpieces
The dlc missions are fine until you get to the Batgirl DLC where you realize that it is a million times better and makes the other DLC’s look like dogshit
It’s really inconsistent in the story like how technically Tim drake is 16 in the DLC and Barbara is 23 and their dating and how technically Tim drake robin was not robin at the time it was Jason and he had recently died

17 hours to finish the game? It takes me around 30 in each playthrough.
It took me 45 first playthrough, without getting the trophies, just the story and side missions.

@@DariMan001 If the creator pronounces it a certain way, then that's how it's pronounced. Like in uh, RWBY, there are names based off of, or exactly the same as real life names, but they're not pronounced that way, because the creators said so. Also, in RWBY it makes more sense because there's no China, or Germany, or whatever. But honestly, I don't really care how names are pronounced.

All the dlc are at least 15 minutes long and batgirls dlc is long and plus there all for a pretty good price plus you could get the season pass

That Catwomen Electric floor part was beyond fustrating and im glad you pointed out that it was hard for you because that was a struggle foreal. coulndt even finish that dlc because of it at times. i finished it of course. but not without many fustrating moments

Not having DLC for Azrael and not giving us a Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman skin is a huge missed opportunity and the biggest disappointment.
The catwoman floor panel fight kept me up at night until I realized that it was challenge for using the critical hit and free flow focus upgrades
I did play all these back when the game came out and now after SSKTJL which I’m not playing but it got me back into the Batman mood, I’ve been playing the Arkham games again. I’m wrapping up Knight and playing these Arkham episodes again and one thing I didn’t notice and thought was very cool with Harley was her inner monologue back and forth with Harleen wrestling for control when you go into “detective vision” it made me want to stay in it the entire time and listen to their dialogue

also during the madhatter mission, when your in the story book the graphics change back to arham asylum and then arkham city before changing back to knight. I thought this was an amazing little detail that i only noticed after going back and playing the previous two games and then replaying the mad hatter mission. That was a really good detail and it showed how the game developed in terms of graphics.
