I was so upset with my Cricut I was seriously about to just give up hope completely. Hi, I bought some 10 and 12 mm discs to engrave, they are small, I ordered a cricut and wanted to know if it will be able to engrave them? Or what is the smallest dimension it will allow?
What types of materials can be engraved? You are showing aluminum but what other materials can be used? Would it be possible to do glass engraving? If so, how would that be done? Glass sheets are typically around 1/8" thick. Would 1/8" glass on top of the mat still be usable? Are there any tricks to know about engraving glass? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Want to make reusable acrylic stencils for Pergamano/ parchment craft from my own designs - like the Groovi type. Can a line be made slightly wider or deeper with settings - only needs to be enough to run a ball stylus along to mark vellum/ parchment and not cut through as in a normal stencil?

I bought the off brand engraving tool for my maker but it will not detect it nor does all the materials show up so I can not pick the chip board. Can you tell me why it will not work?
Do you think that this might work on a card stock? I’m trying to figure out if engraving using the circuit on paper is even possible or if the tool would be too strong. Would love some input on this!
This engraver does not replace hand stamping at all. I stamp as a business. My maker doesn't come close to the quality of stamping. It engraves huge letters but not necklace sized pieces. And it will not engrave stainless steel like it advertised. Not worth it unless you plan on using it for big projects

Tanner I thought you had to move the plastic white rollers to the side. Is it okay to keep them in place if engraving on acrylic
Yes, it doesn't really matter where the stars are on a material this thin

That's hard to say. I would say if you get any smaller than an inch you may be getting risky. The larger, the better
