Yes it's easy just take the back pin out and use a screwdriver to pop the sear housing up a little bit and you'll pull the safety rightout. Then the safety plugs pop right in. Just tell Smith and Wesson that you're engaging the safety during shooting . They should put some in the mail for you
from what I understand, you can get the thumb "saftys" removed.
I think I found a way to do that myself. If I am able to do that, I may video it. :)
I have to disagree about the safety on my MP9, I love it.

call smith an they will send you safety plugs an you can do away with the safety. they sent me some for free . hope this helps
