Love it. I bought a Steeldive Tuna only yesterday and I am impressed with it. Was wondering about maybe changing the dial too. I like the green one you have. Great vid. All the best👍🏾🇬🇧
@@ShortBetter yes way the new to cut the pins and use tape. One would think that using a Seiko movement with replacement face the Seiko pins would be located for the movement.
Where do you get this dial, and do they make an orange one? edit: Ah nevermind, you answered that later in the video. Bummer, looks like I'll have to wait for new dials on Ali.
I was wondering if you chapter rings that can be used on steel dive tuna, I have a sharky tuna that I placed a yellow seiko dial in it, now I want to swap the yellow chapter ring with a Black chapter ring , I have a black seiko dial I want to use , what are your thoughts
@@ShortBetter well I removed the crystal and chapter ring, outer dimension is 30.71mm, inner dimension is 26.89mm, chapter ring dimension is 2.03mm. I found a skx bezel and it fit but it’s a wee small, I used dial dots and lined it, put the crystal back , so I’ll see when it’s done
its not a mod its a fake. not cool. ive tunas since 80s still do. doubt thats real 300mm and no day /date. no lumes like seiko. but other then that its real Ha Not
I didn't really get what you wrote here😁 But I want to clarify something. No one is saying it's real seiko. And btw, the lume here is better than original seiko🤣🤣

@@Soggz7785 Try it, Steeldive is a good base for modding. Very few things can go wrong compared to separate parts builds😊
Wonderful video and the face was so well changed. Made it completely different.
Thank you😊😊🙏
Order this mod from my website here - www.mod4thai.com
I like those dials the lume matches those steeldive hands perfect
Yes, better than original dials😁😁
Beautiful mod, love your channel !
Thank you, really happy to know it😊😊
Friend why you could use any feet on the dial? Two pairs 1 for 3 o’clock crown and one for 3.8?
Steeldive's tuna is not a standard case. It has probably 4 o'clock crown, and most of the dial's pins don't match
I did a nh35 movement on a 4.1,dial I used had 3 sets of dial feet.So no tape was needed.
Seiko movement and Seiko face why don’t the alinement post not line up? Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your videos.
Not sure I understand you. Do you mean the dial fit? The one you need to stick the dial on the movement?
@@ShortBetter yes way the new to cut the pins and use tape. One would think that using a Seiko movement with replacement face the Seiko pins would be located for the movement.
@pclarin those fir designed for 3, 3,8 and 4.2 o'clock crown. But this case has 4 o'clock crown. That's why none of them fit in this case
@@ShortBetter oh! Thank you.
what a nice mod!!
It is😊😊 Thanks for watching
Do you still have the green dial? Greetz Erik from Holland
Yes, I do
Where did u buy this dial link please thx

I would love to get it in orange, too!🥲😅
NICE. where I can find that bihadesive :(
Aliexpress 😅 Chat with sellers who sell the dials. They have it
Is the caseback same size as the skx 007
Yes and no. Some casebacks do not fit well, some fit perfectly. Both were for SKX007😮💨 Guess you will have to just try
Как вы думаете возможно ли в этот корпус установить механизм seiko 7c46?
Have no idea, need to check the sizes of both movements

Yes, you definitely can swap chapter rings. For that, you have to remove the crystal first
@@ShortBetter I’ve removed crystal is the as in a skx or turtle

I want swap dial my pagani gmt to dial logo seiko, but i afraid not same size dial
Is your Pagani with NH34 movement or Chinese?
@@ShortBetter NH34 movement, and diameter dial is 29mm
@ifdha irfan if you already know the original dial size, then go ahead and swap it😊 There are plenty of 29mm dials with seiko logo on aliexpress
Could you fit a VH31 movement in this case? 👍
Nope
China🎉
. Lame to put a Seiko badge on a homage

I agree 100%
On the lume question
🤡
lol hes obviously stuck in the 80s 😂 lumes have gotten way better since
If I want to replace the crown, which type of Seiko crown is suitable for this Steeldive? 🤏🏼
The crown size is 7mm, that's all I know 😅🙏 I haven't tried swapping the crown yet, I think it's good already
@@ShortBetter how about Dial size ? im looking for custom dial for sd1975, please
@@le7en8 28,5 or 29mm will fit😊
Dial size?
