Oh FFS, forget this complication and cut one end above the belt middle layer and, the other end below the middle layer, with a 3-4 times width overlap, use CA glue, and you'll have a very strong bond in a quarter of the time this video makes you take.

Intentare realizarlo, no localizo las bandas para una camara ptz de la marca dahua. me gusto la idea, te comento como me fue. I will try to do it, I do not locate the bands for a ptz camera of the dahua brand. I liked the idea, I told you how it was.
When you find the Belt the most important parameter is the pitch between the teeth and width of teeth. Use your broken belt to measure this. Should be able to find on Ebay. Also I did not show but use a very small amount of superglue on the back of the mend with a thin overlay of latex rubber. My repair is very strong and has lasted for about a half year now. It is stronger than the original belt. BUENA SUERTE
@@jfcrow1 thanks for the video, it was a success, the replacement of the belt worked. It was easier for me to cut the ends in half by about 4 teeth, use the needles with the head to fix it and then a bit of instant glue and bake soda to give strength to the belt, again thanks for the video. the belt I used was 6mm g2 I had to cut it to 5mm. gracias por el vídeo, fue un exito, funcionó el reemplazo de la banda. fue para mi mas facil cortar los extremos a la mitad unos 4 dientes, usar las agujas con cabeza para fijarla y luego un poco de pegamento instantaneo y bicarbonato para darle fuerza a la banda, de nuevo gracias por el video. la banda que use fue g2 de 6 mm tuve que cortarla a 5mm.
Hello i just bought an Defender 82-19420 and it sounds like the belt is slipping and intermittently wont pan and tilt properly, do you think its the belts even though its brand new?
It seems like the best way to join timing belt ends. Thanks!
The PTZ camera I repaired July 2018 is still working fine. Of course this is a custom repair. If you can fine a OEM belt use it.

Corrige el título, este método sirve para muchas máquinas y sobre todo las descontinuadas, la use en una singer deluxe 700, muy difícil de conseguir.👍

Yes. Belt is very cheap.

Would be easier if you first glued the joint with super glue
How to cut that iron 📌 at last
How do reposition a ptz camera for use after refitting a belt
where is the link to the .5mm pins?

이런 방법은 아주 힘들어 보입니다.쉬운 방법이 없는걸까요? ^^;;

Bad video editing!
Wasting too much time on just one scene!
you could have used super glue
Super glue doesn't do well flexing and will not last. The pin method is the best, flexes, and fits very well into existing pulleys.
