I might get blocked for this but here goes. I'm pretty sure the creator has edited the description to allow you to have a feel good moment. The Grizzly only backed down because it had already eaten one of her calves and is going back for 2nds on this video. If this was a grizzly right out of hibernation; mamma could have been lunch. But as with most(if not all) predators; the weakest will be the first thing targeted. Edit: Search for Newborn moose taken by Grizzly by the same creator of this video and read the description.
The bear looked kind of young and confused and likely recently ate. Otherwise, it would have been curtains for the poor Moose calf. It is amazing how protective the Moose mom was but there is a limit as she had two. So if push came to shove she would have had to save one and herself rather than a complete disaster. Nature is cruel but it is what it is.
the way that mom waited (calf in the way) drew the calf away circled back with a closer return to the bear (calf out of the way) ...so much going on in that scene
Bears, and predators in general, don't want to get hurt. Getting hurt could ultimately be fatal. Even an adult would calculate if it could grab the little one without being hurt. Most times it would probably figure that the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.
I love the economics of nature. Each animal uses its capabilities to gain advantage. The moose gave enough of a charge on land to illustrate to the bear what was available and the bear decided not to 'fk about and find out'. Love moose and bears, both phenomenal creatures.

Grizzly just said " I'll be back in a few years when I'm bigger older and more experienced .
Even Grizzlies know NOT to mess with moose 😂
OMG! Two baby moosies! Mama does her job.⭐️👍⭐️⭐️
She's like, F off Winnie!
Oh yeah don't mess with momma's babies
Очень радостно, что оба малыша и их мама остались живы!
This is why survivorman les Stroud says he fears moose more than bear when in the bush
She made that bear skat !
My heart skipped beat when noise took a few steps in water away from little one with grizzly close by
Mama Moose is awesome. Don't mess with her kids eh.
Does a bear poop in the woods? This one definitely did after Momma Moose sent him packing.
😆 😆
That was a small bear. A full adult bear would be more of a fight.
Bears, and predators in general, don't want to get hurt. Getting hurt could ultimately be fatal. Even an adult would calculate if it could grab the little one without being hurt. Most times it would probably figure that the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.
@@percyfaith11 Lmfao 😂💀
Thats a 2 year old griz
Don't underestimate the danger of a moose.. They are freaking deadly. Bear hunger is trumped by Moose mom Defensive reaction
@@happymtdude539 Right on. The bear's cautious reaction proves that.
I love the economics of nature. Each animal uses its capabilities to gain advantage. The moose gave enough of a charge on land to illustrate to the bear what was available and the bear decided not to 'fk about and find out'. Love moose and bears, both phenomenal creatures.
