Wow, pretty incredible. I was lucky to see David Bowie during the Sound and Vision tour with Adrian Belew and his band backing up Bowie back in 1990. What a great night, really great show! Wonderful memories.
I was blessed lucky to witness Adrian in 78 live on the brilliant Heroes/Isolar tour, he blew my lights out with STS. Stacy Heydon did a superb intro to STS in 76 live at Nassau, then Adrian produced the ultimate mindbending intros of all in 78, ive kept a few from some shows on the tour, theyre superb. It was Earl Slicks ones on the 83 tour that are my next favourites also, but not as blistering as Adrians. The one wish ive had for STS since Bowie formed Tin Machine with Reeves Gabrels and the Hunt bros, was that Reeves could of done that intro when he did the Outside /Earthling tours, but it wasnt played. Reeves was a blistering sonic force on those 96/97 shows, lifting them to unseen heights. His STS intros may have been even as great as Adrians.
Man. If you hadn't cut it after the intro, I could've shared this on Facebook and like 50 people I know would probably have bought tickets. I mean, it's great, I got chills, I'm certainly going to go to the show if you play a date near me, but, like, I can't share this with my friends on social media. It's too frustrating. MOAR

Just look at Adrian Belew body of work . Most Valuable player . Zappa wanted him. David Bowie as well. Grooved with Talking Heads. Guitar master Robert Fripp brought him on to King Crimson to form one of there best incarnations. Trent Reznor brought Adi on NIN . It tells you of Belew's Talent as a Singer Multi Instrumentalists. Adrian is tremendous. Miles Davis would have brought him on eventually. There are Sredders a dime a dozen. Adrian Belew has that other element. A Sonic master like JIMI JEFF BECK ROBERT FRIPP.
I saw Adrain with David in 1980 i think it was, and then on another concert I saw the man who originally played it with Bowie, Earl Slick! So I got to se 2 giants play this live.
forgive me for speaking out of turn but my understanding of the situation goes like this - parker as a company is no longer an entity - you are unable to obtain new oem parts to keep these guitars in service . Adrian is playing some newer fender guitars built specifically for his needs (built in sustainer system , midi etc . He played the parker on his solo tour which we saw in june of 22 - and wow that was a spectacular high watermark . the last tour he had the yellowish parker out . i think he has two of the silver ones maybe more - and one of those silver parker fly guitars is a fretless. stick around , you will see those parkers in action . a lot of folks were happy to see him back in the saddle with the strat though. now if i could just cast some kind of spell and get the jc120s fired up again ... ha

Wow!!! This is going to be a Phenomenal tour celebrating David Bowie! 🙏🏼
very very cool effects via guitars
Go Adrian, Go, and thank you to be there
My favorite Bowie song, you guys killed it in Tarrrytown on the 23rd!
Adrian is SO underrated! He was fantastic with King Crimson, not just his guitar playing but also his singing. He has a phenomenal voice.
It's great that you mention his singing.
He reaches out in so many ways, a full musician.
No. He is not. He is appreciated by every single person who has ever heard him play.
Bowie's most mystical masterpiece
Adrian you are the man!
This is fantastic. One of my favorite Bowie songs!
