Hey man I get this problem too. But sometimes what I do to gain position is to “slip stream” it’s when you draft behind someone and thus receive a slight boost. And also be very nitrous smart. Always keep nitrous above 50% because of you mess up you can gain speed again and when the nitrous bar is from 50-100% is gives a bigger boost
No matter how hard I try I can’t get passed coming 6,5,4,9,7,3 it’s ridiculously competitive trying to come first and cars are just too damn difficult to control in corners even if I brake 😢
Is the crew worth buying? On sale atm not sure if I should cop, also can I just play single player stuff and be okay? Or do I have to do online (PvP) and grind that way?

It doesn’t matter which settings used on any cars.
They all don’t BRAKE properly when turning or even in a straight line.
It’s really frustrating🤦🏿♂️
I was just testing this car on races with a friend while we grinded XP for the Main Stage, what a nice driving car
crazy part is the mini map showed to turn left too

I guess you are not using all the shortcuts, I have the same problem, even if I go first for 70% of the race, I still get caught up at the very end.

Yeah it’s a good game and yeah you can level up on single player too
