@@me-ev3kz that’s only being done so that the locomotive doesn’t freeze. I understand that it is probably an annoyance but the railroad can’t afford to have an engine freeze up. And on the topic of air quality, with the amount of 18 wheelers that roll through that area going to the industrial park, why are they never a problem? A locomotive at Idle that is far from any homes i guarantee would register less carbon pollution than the 1 20-30 trucks I see when I’m there taking pictures.
Awesome catches!
This engine has been idling 24 hours a day for weeks at the Whitefield air port frontage. Great for air quality and neighbors. Thanks !

Crazy to see actual freight locomotives on Conway
Wow! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for recording this and sharing with us.
Thanks! That would have been some cab ride!
Wow never thought that 318 on Vermont rail would go on the Conway scenic
Easier to send it to Conway’s shop than to Burlington for a 92 day inspection.
@ oh ok
i see a good partnership with vtr and conway scenic
Well now thats interesting. Any word on if its going to help out with any trains there, or is it just for repairs/inspection?
From what I know it’s just a 92 day. But I’ve also heard that she won’t be needed in groveton for a while so anything is possible I guess
Is it staying at North Conway?
@@Electric-067 no, just there temporarily
Do you have a vid of 405 when it was on the fall train September 28th this year?
