Some detailed commentary would be useful---see "Distant Signal"---otherwise you are just another poor trainspotting channel
I would want nothing more than to give detailed narration, but my set up is extremely limited. All I have is an IPhone. That’s what everything for the last 8 years has been shot on. And before that it was an IPad. If anyone would be interested in helping me upgrade my equipment to provide higher quality product, then the story would be very different.
No info at all. Ok, then
Great short line action...
Glad ypu posted something now i work at the powe plat for a bit no pellets but by truck how do they unload cars when there no tracking to presby
So that plaztic in those cars at airport
It's to make their drainage pipes.
I know what it makes i install presy systems its envirometal tubes for leach fields on septic systems my question is how they unload it an bring it to plant no rail to plat airports in the way i wasnt sure why they where there like vid says been 6 years theres a train car repair in columbia thought maybe they where stage or grain from barnet lyndonville @@NHVT_Productions
@mikiscarpeter2350 probably a pump system on the truck/trailer. They were transloading up at the shops on Route 110 in Berlin, since 2019. VRS buying out NHCR probably helped them gain back Presby as a customer. They are the same company who serves Lyndonville and Barnet. My last video was shot of them passing Morrison's this summer.
@@NHVT_Productions dude no its for septic systems
They have es an aes
Really cool video well done!
Enjoyed the GP35 working this revenue train! I enjoyed it way back at Rigby and saddened when it got traded!
Great catch! Thanks for sharing, and for standing in the rain so I didn’t have to.
What coos county .I grew up on the Oregon coast in coos county. I am currently right outside of Pittsburgh.
Coos county New Hampshire. Northern tip of the state.
Nice to see some sort of industrial motion in VT
The entirety of this video was shot within NH...
Now THAT'S motive power.
Where are the cars coming from--- what customer, where??😅
They are for Presby, a plastic company just a half mile away by KHIE airport. They use trucks to get the product to the factory. For the past few years, they have been transloading in Berlin. I am not sure where the cars come from but they carry plastic pellets
@@Island_Line_Rail_Productionsso they ahve been unloading in berlin why they brining cars back down? Cheaper less travel for trucks deff real quick turnaround but presby seem to be expanding well infiltrator now but they seem to be doing excavation tlrn
Maybe the answer is otherwise widely known, but why is Vermont Rail using a Conway Scenic geep?
Power short on the NHCR line. The GP9 is down and the MP15 needs a 92 day.
At least they follow the rules unlike some.
@@cooscountyrailvideos2024 so #216 is on a temporary loan until those locomotives return? Good thing CSRR has other locomotives otherwise they probably wouldn't have done that
Wonder why they needed the engine to go get CLP 203? As far as I know, it always ran fine on the VRS. Or did every time I saw it.
@@Island_Line_Rail_Productions had to be reactivated in North Conway
close enough, welcome back maine central.
Dang!!! Great catch!!!
WoW!
LOCO!-+++++
AFTER SPENDING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON TRAINS WHY ARE YOU STILL FILIMING ON IPHONE??????? WAKE UP PEOPLE THE NEW WORLD ORDER IS UPON US TRYING TO TAK EOUR LIBERTIES TAKE UP WAND TAKE THEM BACK FROM THE LIVERAL EXTREMEIST MARXIST COMMUNISTS TRYING TO DESTROY THE WORLD YOU HEAR THEY ARE STEALING THE CHILDREN IN THE TUNNELS SAVE THE CHILDREN!!!
Great night catches awesome chase and nice video
Great catches and awesome video
I hope the Yankee can make a New England tour,, that would be fun
Great video man, absolutely amazing catches and amzing horn on these locomotives😊
Glad you like them!
Where is 507?
Never saw it lead, these are only locomotives that i have seen lead trains
Enjoyed this short video!!! Thank you for sharing and introducing what the video was about!
NIce video, thanks for the chase. But what exactly is the Sununu Special? Is there a story behind the upgraded caboose? What is it used for? I'm live in SE CT so I'm not familiar with this.
Chris Sununu is the current Governor of NH. I’m guessing this event is tied to the election year.
That is an SD70MAC
@@rajsub7804 Lettering on the side of the locomotive says otherwise. I know it is technically a Mac but G&W has decided to classify them as 70Ms.
Awesome!
I'm more interested in the green Kenworth cab over!
Those tractors are becoming quite rare. The end of the cab over era was kind of like the end of the steam era, at least in the USA. Maybe one day there will be “Heritage Trucking” non profit groups.
Was a 1982 KW with a 3406 Cat, talked with the owner, really nice guy. Sat in it, had that old truck smell, brought back many memories of when I used to truck back in the day! I was the liason for the Conway Scenic Railroad to help the club in any way, great bunch of kids, guys and gals, wish them the best of luck 👍
@@timslager5966 now that's just slicker than slick man! Lucky you, ol rig smell n all. Ain't nothin better than the smell of an ol semi.
I guess some structural repairs were needed before this consist could be towed on the rails?
So happy to see this. That in cab shot at the end was truly amazing. Wondering how close the Wisconsin outfit is to completing the Mark Twain Zephyr?
Fantastic 👍🏻😎
Yo that’s so cool, glad to see it’s still around! Hope they can restore that into running order!
Wonderful old railway stock, and I also liked the trucks. You don't see so many of those cabovers. Nice custom rigs.
Those were always sharp looking. Looking forward to seeing it motivate under its' own power. Thanks much!
Good Luck and best wishes on getting this cat up and running…. Looks great so far….
Incredible!
Some footage of the Flying Yankee in transit to its new home at the Conway Scenic Railroad. The Flying Yankee will soon be operational once more like it was originally built in 1935 by Budd with electrical and mechanical equipment from Electro-Motive Corporation later EMD. Good luck Flying Yankee Association on restoring a classic streamliner from the 1930s
Why was it moved from Lincoln?
Its being restored to operation. Its owned by a company in Nashua NH, but it will run in North Conway for the public to enjoy
Can the Flyer be viewed from any public easements?
Glad it was able to be moved safely! Maybe someday it will be functional again
Its nice to see another locomotive up and running though has there been any word on Maine central #501's condition since you saw it last?
Awaiting its turn in the shop as of right now
Looks like the Conway Scenic Railroad is expanding their fleet a lot like the Reading and Northern Railroad!
They just keep buying stuff, don't they 😂
I wonder if anything was in that boxcar i didn't think they would send an engine out that far for an empty car
It was empty, Conway Scenic got it to restore it when time allowed for it
"New"? Its only been 40 through that stretch since 2010 or whenever Amtrak started going to Brunswick.
I’ve never seen a freight go faster than 25-30 through there unit March when I saw them run 40.
@@cooscountyrailvideos2024 its always been 40 there, the only exception is the short section leading off of Royal Jct. I believe from there to Walnut was 40 MPH until 2019 when a different switch set up was installed. But if they were on the main they could get up to 40 before they hit the Jct heading west.
Sweet catch, how far and where does the 40mph start and End on eastbound trains? Wish you would add dates to your films!
Starts around FalmouthI think, ends between Depot and.. Morse? road. unsure exactly.
