Great Video Steve. Will the D4's or D3's work in the same spot as the S4's?
If I get this bike I was looking at having the D4's/D3's up top then the D7's where you have yours.

When driving at night, doesen't the number plate light glare in the camera, Before i drill in the rear fender.
Even though the title of this video mentions the KTM 890 Adventure, I don't recall you talking about the 890 functionality with the ezCAN or showing any video of it. I'm actually purchasing the new 2022 Husqvarna Norden 901, which is built on an 890 Adventure chassis and engine. I'm hoping that the ezCAN II Gobi will work for this bike (or that Hex comes out with A Norden specific unit). It's my understanding that you can't do lights flashing with the turn signals active, and you can't use the auxiliary lights as turn signals. Can you confirm?
Bundle arrived quickly and was pretty straight forward to fit ! HEX website useful, and pretty clear and easy to follow ! all working a treat - as a small bit of feedback the split sound bomb does not come with a fitting bracket - you have to make your own, happy days :)
Hey Chrissy K, what do you mean no split soundbomb mount? You should have had a crash bar horn mount in the box if you opted for the split bomb in the bundle.
EDIT - Sound bomb bracket sent out to me, speedily just an admin mix up - so kit DOES come with fitting bracket !

Any idea when the Ezcan video out on installing on a 1290 SAS to include the horn and tie into the OEM horn? This has caused faults on my 1290 and the bike doesn’t seem to like it. Not much as far as instructions on these kits.

Correct. It limits your adjustability but it’s a nicer finish in my opinion.
Steve, I have a 2021 ktm 1290 adventure S, looking to put a set of D3 spots on it. Do you sell a kit that has mounting brackets to mount up beside the forks and they are a bit bigger in dia then the S4, so will they fit in there.
sorry, i didn't watch the video until the end, but do you think i can mount my KRISTA lights with the Denali mount under the fairing, the KRISTAs are heavy and the DENALI adapter WILL DO THE JOB. if so can you give me the reference and if i am not penalized by taxes i will order it from you

it's funny I am Beta tester for the new EZCAN KTM 1290 S 2021, I am very happy to do these tests with my KRISTÀ that I have not yet mounted because I do not yet have the crash bar of SW MOTECH. The new EZCAN is very efficient.
what are the small lights that you put under the fairing?

I had the D4s lights on my Ktm 1290s 2020.
They worked great 99,99% of the time.
But… the ezcan caused a ton of warnings and fake faults on the bike.
Did not show up on the bike but in the shop everything on the bike gave indication of fault.
Ever heard of this issue earlier?
Hi steve i bought the d4 bundle for the 22 1290 sas with the split sound bomb. The sound bomb only works in diagnostic mode and does not work when horn is used. Any idea what i could check further
I do hope you emailed us this question. We don’t use UA-cam comments to provide aftersales support. Emails get replied to very quickly. Horn isn’t on the canbus of a KTM. The instructions tell you this and tells you to connect the green wire from the horn to the ezcan.
Order put down! Can hardly wait to get the kit and mount it. Well, I´ll wait for your video on it so I get things right the first time ;)
its pretty staright forward Trond - Download Hex software (click on QR code on box) go through the preferences on your desk top pc for the EZ can then fit !
@@chriskeeble9469 I was thinking more along the lines of how and where to put cables and such. I´ve used CanSmart on my GSA and I think it´s the same software
@@Trond_Karlsen - im fussy so spent quite a bit of time removing fairing and hiding all cables, to me its well worth the few hours to get a really good finish, also was super careful with how i set the denali split sound bomb pipe, making super sure not to let it near anything hot (as its plastic).
@@autoinnovationsuk Totally agree, I broke down my GSA in pieces when routing the cables and installing the CanSmart. I like things tidy and neat! But, the GSA I have stripped multiple times so I can do that "blindfolded". I am still waiting for my KTM 1290 Super Adventure S so I´m a bit pensive about how much work, and best way to do it on the KTM
Is there an ezCAN for a Yamaha Super Tenere. Searching turns up nothing so I’m guessing no.

Keep up Paul. 😂. Depending on if the browser is set to UK or any other country the price will reflect VAT respectively. Because I am flipping in and out of destination countries all day due to quoting customers accurately based on their location my settings were obviously set to a country outside the UK when I was recording my screen. Bloody brexit. And stop looking for the worst in folk 😉.
