Zoltan is entertaining and impressive as usual, if anyone thinks it's easy playing like that go ahead give it a try. I've seen enough drummers that are good at what they do. It's nice to see something different for a change, obviously it takes a lot of time perfecting this flashy style. I say keep playing like that, it's fun to watch.

The difference is he took it up a notch or two, I know some people don't really care for it and that's cool. Here's the the thing though, if he didn't play like that he'd most likely just be another drummer in a world of a lot of drummers. The bottom line is, he gets paid to play drums and music he actually likes, travels the world, hangs out with Rock stars and a whole bunch of other shit I can't even think of ATM all while standing out from the crowd. He most likely got the job because of the way he plays. In my opinion that's not stupid, I'm actually a little jealous, just sayin.
God didn't bless Mark with loaned talent.. no.... in Mark's case, the Good Lord just straight up loaned Mark His Voice. I'll never forget seeing slaughter back in the early ninetie... lights went down, techs stopped messing with volume level tests... and rhe second Mark began to sing it was as if God had stepped in & effortlessly overpowered all instruments and PA. Mr. Slaughter doesn't need a microphone ... the listeners need protection! One of the most consistent and solid voices I've ever heard in a live performance. Mark is a freakin powerhouse!!!
I love Jeff--he's very sweet. My friend & I got to hang out with them some when they toured with Poison (who we were working with at the time). I've always loved Slaughter and all of them were really cool--with the exception of Dana, who seemed to be pretty stuck on himself. ~LOL~ I've met many rock stars but when Blas walked up to us, I was starstruck for the very first time.

Dana Strum still rocking the bass. They have aged like fine wine and are still kicking it. I was only in my early teens in the 80/90's so they have mellowed out a tad👍

At least they're not lip syncing like so many pop artists these days. It's all about the experience at a live show. Don't you think? I can appreciate that.

I miss the old Slaughter with Tim on guitar, and Bias on drums, and last but not least, I miss Mark's kick ass voice. There are a few bands like Slaughter who pop up every now and then, but nothing like the 80's early 90's. You name a metal band, and chances are, I saw them. I saw Guns n Roses when they were still playing in bars and small clubs. Mark's voice stood out from the others, but there were still some good voices like Geoff Tate, David Coverdale, Sebastian Bach, etc... I saw Motley Crue like 3 years ago, the first time I saw them they were into the "glam" metal back in like 1985. Vince's voice is shot just like Mark's. I think if you can barely make it through 1 song without being out of breath or hitting serious clinkers, that it's time for you to hang up the microphone and maybe be a producer or something like that. Makes me sad to see Mark now.😕
