Jupiter | Gustav Holst

I've been recently creating a selection of concise arrangements of some of my favourite songs and pieces of music for lever harp, suitable for learners and inspired by some of the challenges that my students face in getting to know this wonderful instrument!
This is the second in my set, Gustav Holst's beautifully simple melody from Jupiter which appears right at the centre - the heart of - his eponymous The Planet's suite for orchestra.
Holst's idiom is heavily influenced by the folk music of the British Isles and as such feels very natural on this, a folk instrument! This arrangement is loosely based on the orchestral harp parts, with some simplifications, occasional elaborations and variations of texture.
